Sturdy, flexible uses
Purchased these 20 yrsago and still using them as my log storer. Still work great.Needed a “ temporary” cover for summer furniture and built one out of 2x4 , supports , and covered with a heavy tarp. Thought it would last one season ;but, take it down each spring, use the stuff during the summer AND re assemble it each fall and have used it for 12 seasons.Great quality steel. Even 20 year plus items still have original paint !Update:Used brackets to make a shed addition and 2 rolling machine tool stands. Great gadget to build 2x4 corners. Super steel and incredibly simple design. Upon my recommendation , neighbor built a very sturdy. Workbench using these brackets.

Easy way to build a sturdy structure!
With these brackets I built a very sturdy, nice-looking woodshed in under 4 hours. They are well-made and do exactly what they are advertised to do. One piece of advice; bring one to the hardware store with you when buying the lumber; some 2X4's are cut thicker than others and if you get pieces that will not fit, it will be a pain in the rear. I was able to fit them in the store to easily find some planks that fit. The job was a breeze after that!

Really easy to use. Sturdy, time saver.
I took this idea from another reviewer on here (thanks, Chris!) I built a small wood shed/storage rack for my kindling. I used a few pressure treated 2x4's that I had laying around in my garage. It measures roughly 4'x4'. I also utilized a few roofing shingles that I've been contemplating throwing away for years. The braces are very easy to use. They are sturdy. And they are way less expensive than a lot of the other options on Amazon. Good purchase, overall. I'd recommend these to anyone.

Simple and Sturdy...but read the directions!
Really nice brackets to make a firewood rack. You can make your rack any length, height or width. Just buy the appropriate length treated 2x4's. I went with 16" wide, 4' high and 12' long. Unlike other brands, the openings for the 2x4 were perfectly sized so no trimming of the ends of the lumber was necessary. Not too tight, not too loose. Due to the 12' length, I added some 5/4 x 6 x 12' "back boards" along the backside of the rack. I'm not sure if this is necessary, but with a 12' rack I wanted it to be extra sturdy. This is really easy to assemble, but please read the directions first. It only takes a second, and if you assemble them wrong your rack won't be as strong. My all-in price for brackets, lumber and screws was about $100 per 12' rack. That includes 3 of the 5/4" back rails at $15 each. Highly recommended. I'm really happy with the strength and ease of assembly. And it looks like they'll last forever.

Durable, well made wood rack brackets!
Convenient wood rack bracket joint!. Very durable as well. I slapped together my oversized wood rack to hold a little over 2 full cords in about 1 hour including cutting and assembly - its more like a stackable wood pit. After loading with wood, it certainly became overloaded on the sides as the stacked wood settles outwards. My treated 2x4 lumber verticals worked their way to about 30 degrees off the vertical axis, and its been like that for over 2 years now (Its truly seasoned wood, and I know, the rack needs side supports!) . Anyway, these rack joint brackets have not bent or worn whatsoever. They are very well made, and they have not corroded either. Its nice to know that basic metal part products like this can still be made of good quality and well-made. The only con is that the wood to pretty close to the ground, but this can be worked around rather easily.

Tough enough
Building with 2 x 4's generally means your are expecting heavy duty usage. This nifty product handles pretty much anything you can dish out. It is incredibly simple to build all manner of things with these. Just a hand saw, a hammer and some framing nails are all it takes. I have used these half a dozen times to build shelves, racks and even a generator shed. All of which have stood up to hard use, lots of weight and in some cases harsh weather with equal aplomb.

Great value - Wonderful quality
I bought these about a year ago to build a rack for my firewood. I used pressure treated 2x4's (x8' length) that I purchased from the local DIY store along with deck screws to hold the lumber parts securely to the brackets. The parts went together very easily with just a slight bit of trimming with a jigsaw at the end of some of the 2x4's to make them fit into the brackets. It took about an hour with all the cutting, assembling, and screwing to finish the project from beginning to end. I could have built a wood rack without these brackets, but I think that without these brackets, it would have either taken more lumber and much, much more time to put together something that is as strong and that can hold as much firewood as a rack built with these brackets.Using the 2"x4"x8' pressure treated lumber, the wood rack I built with these brackets can hold between 1/3 and 1/2 cord of firewood wood.I supported the woodrack on a couple of thin concrete blocks about an inch or two off the ground so the rack and firewood stayed off the wet ground. My wood rack has lasted over a year now in rain, snow, and sun and it's as solid and strong as the day I built it. TIP: I bought a small tarp and some bungee cords from the local DIY store to cover the top of my firewood rack; I screwed in some eye bolts directly into the lumber frame of my wood rack to hold the bungee cords in place. The DIY solution was a lot cheaper than purchasing one of the larger 8-foot-long firewood rack covers available online.)I'm happy with these brackets.
