Are there raised lips around the camera part to protect the lens against scratches?

Yes, there are enough, very professional design.

What about the camera protection of this Diamond Clear case? I am really concerned about this.

There is a cut-out on the case allowing an unobstructed view through the lenses, so although the camera lenses aren't covered by the actual case ..... they are protected by a raised lip around the 'cut-out/window'. My wife loves it. It 'does what it says on the tin' whilst allowing the phones actual case colour to shine through unobstructed.
