Seems like a good strong rope as described. I know they are calling this a climbing rope with 5,900 lb breaking strength, but they are not tested by any regulatory agency or safety accrediting institution, specifically the UIAA! When ropes are tested for safety there is much more that is looked at than breaking strength. Diameter, Elongation, Static Strength, Material, Sheath Slippage, Dynamic Performance, Knotability, Shrinkage, Water Repelling Characteristics, and Abrasion Resistance are all factors that determine how safe a rope is for use in life safety applications. Without providing proof that this rope has gone through this rigorous testing process it is unsafe to use for sport climbing, repelling, or use in any other life safety system! This rope makes a great, strong utility rope. I recommend it for that purpose.

Pretty good rope for the price. I've used it to tie down some furniture while moving and pulling a dead tree down with my truck. Granted when I put some 'spirited' pulls I snapped it toward the end. Still good rope.

Needed to quickly purchase a rope for pulling down trees. Ordered this one and it came 1 1/2 day later. Comes packaged in a ball about the size of a volleyball. I had to unravel the rope and recoil it but this was not a big deal. The rope feels significant and worked very well for the size of trees that I was falling. Weight of the rope is approximately 6-8 lbs (not the 1 1/2 lbs advertised. This is a guesstimate, did not actually put it on a scale.) Pleased so far with the purchase. Durability will need to be determined over time but I expect this rope to perform as expected with proper care.

I used this to pull on some leaning trees which I cut down near power lines. Pulling with my small tractor this rope did not stretch and worked perfectly. It was easy to knot and also remained easy tog un-knot after pulling. It was nice and long and also slid well without being damaged when fishing a slip knot up into the trees.

I paid $45 for 150ft of thick branded rope and that’s what I got. There are a few small burn marks as others have mentioned but it’s way cheeper then other comparable products for the same strength. I’m using the rope for tree worn around my property and it’s perfect for that. Let me be clear, I did not buy this rope for climbing nor would I ever look for the cheapest option for something that is supposed to save my life. If you're purchasing this to save your life than pay $200 for some rope with higher quality control. It’s worth it. Now, if you want strong rope for a good price than buy this. For my purpose Ide give it 5 stars. I gave it 4 stars hoping someone would read This before betting their life on a good deal.
