Perfect book and paper

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter, who loves film, fashion, and fashion in film history. I only leafed through it in curiosity, but it opened her eyes to a whole new realm of possibilities when it comes to her interests, talents, and passions.

Great book, thoroughly researched and with just the right amount of comments and information for every designer and film featured.Many beautiful photos,too!A must-have for everyone who takes pleasure in observing what everyone wears in a movie and considers costume design an art in its self.

A rather interesting book to flip through however I felt a bit shortchanged as it could have been better illustrated. For example whilst talking about Halston as worn by Amy Adams in American hustle, one outfit is described with no corresponding image or outfit sketch.

Anything with Audrey Hepburn on the cover would attract me but this is a lovely book , I bought it for myself and ended up buying several more for Christmas presents. Ideal gift for anyone who enjoys both films and fashion. Beautiful illustrations and very readable text. Can imagine settling down with this after Christmas lunch with a glass of something!

I liked the photos and written text, however, found the pointsize could have been slightly larger to increase legibility.
