Like Burt's Bees "Cocoa" Lip Shimmer? IMHO, This Is Better.
Are you one of the thousands of natural-cosmetics fans who showed Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer's popular "Cocoa" shade years of loyal love -- only to feel sucker-punched when Burt's Bees discontinued "Cocoa" for well over a year, stubbornly refusing to reinstate or replace it with a similar hue for brown colorway fans and the many black-, brown-, or tan-skinned customers for whom "Cocoa" was Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer's only truly 'Nude,' 'Neutral,' or 'Flesh-Toned' shade? If so, then you might find that "Sky Organics Raisin Tinted Lip Balm" – whose 4-pack I discovered via the social media posts of eco-minded fashionistas left stranded during the year or so that Burt's Bees Cocoa Lip Shimmer was discontinued -- is both a great alternative and a superior product in its own right. That "Sky Organics Raisin Tinted Lip Balm" boasts natural ingredients and a lovely brown shade -- one rich yet sheer enough to compliment a wide range of skin tones -- makes the product a great one-to-one replacement for Burt's Bees Cocoa Lip Shimmer. However, IMHO, "Sky Organics Raisin Tinted Lip Balm" also surpasses the quality of Burt's Bees Cocoa Lip Shimmer -- in that it contains peppermint oil in proportions that invigorate lips without irritating them (per the peppermint-oil-related irritation that some Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer users report online); is even more long-wearing than Burt's Bees Cocoa Lip Shimmer without feeling heavy; and doesn't become gummy on the lips over time, as Burt's Bees Cocoa Lip Shimmer often did for me after several hours of workday wear. And if you periodically suffer from hormone-related angular cheilitis, "Sky Organics Raisin Tinted Lip Balm" might be an especially useful alternative -- or at least it has been for me. Indeed, while I found that Burt's Bees Cocoa Lip Shimmer often exacerbated the stress-induced angular cheilitis that monthly hormonal changes brought as I entered perimenopause -- so much so that my physician recommended that I stop using the unexpired Burt's Bees Cocoa Lip Shimmer I’d stockpiled before it was discontinued -- I've had no such problems with "Sky Organics Raisin Tinted Lip Balm," even during hormonal shifts and lip-shredding Great Lakes winters. Score! That "Sky Organics Raisin Tinted Lip Balm" brings all these goodies to the table while costing less for a 4-pack than the retail price of just 2 tubes of Burt's Bees Cocoa Lip Shimmer seals the deal for me.Thus, although I hear that Burt’s Bees recently bowed to over a year of customer outcry and resurrected Burt's Bees Cocoa Lip Shimmer from its ‘discontinued’ list, I’m happy to stay put with "Sky Organics Raisin Tinted Lip Balm." I’ve found it to be a superior product that just plain works better for me. YMMV.

Me gustaron muy poco, tienen como brillantes. La no hidrata nada. Podría ser para niñas.

Nicely tinted lip balm
I found myself wanting a product that provided some lip color but wasn't a lipstick or gloss. Just something to add a subtle pop while still providing moisture. I also wanted a relatively clean product. The ingredients of this set looked pretty good, and the colors seemed promising, so I decided to give it a try. They are mint scented, which is always my preference, however I do think there could be some improvement there. I think there's almost a hint of vanilla to it. That may be a selling point for some, but personally, I've never been a fan. I do like the cooling effect the mint has, though. It doesn't tingle, it just feels so refreshing. The colors are raisin, plum, rose, and "shimmer". Now, I do wish they would replace the shimmer with an actual color. It's not 90s/2000s frosted lipstick shimmery, but there is a hint of silver to it. There's also a very slight gritty texture because of the shimmer. Let's just say it's not the one I reach for most often. But the other colors are beautiful, and I think the price was still worth it for three great shades. Not overwhelmingly pigmented, which is what I wanted. The raisin is a brownish plum, which I think will be particularly perfect in fall.

My fav, wish I could buy just one color tho
I've tried an obscene number of lip balms over the years. I always have my favorites but that doesn't mean they're perfect. This one by Sky Organics is super close to being perfect. The only thing that I don't like is there isn't one that is quite sheer enough to have a tiny bit of color and still have the lip balm. They all have a sparkle element. They do have a completely sheer option in another package but those don't last as long as these on your lips (but also my fav sheer balm). The only thing that I would complain about right at the moment is that there is no way I can use the really dark one, it's almost a black. I also am not extremely fond of the plum one but it does look good, I'm just not a person that wears red casually. If I'm going to put red on my lips it's going to be a solid Pacific Rim type for a special occasion. But if you like wine reds then that's a good one for you. My favorites are the two pinkish colors and I wish they would sell them separately again. I bought two variety packs over the last year or so and I always end up throwing away the Raisin, it's just too dark for me. It is not sheer at all and you really need to have dark skin or a goth look to use that color. But after I go through the two pinks and use the plum, sometimes anyway, it only ends up being about $3 per tube so that's not bad at all. The only other one that I really like is by Burt's Bees and it's the Shimmer style. They're tube gloss does not stay on, just for the record - still talking about Burt's Bees here. Sky Organics is a product I'm super glad I tried and glad it's still around. I also keep their sheer balm around for other household members. Wish I had someone to give the Raisin to.

Excellent! Just needed full variety.
I really like them! Only flaw: I got 2 Raisin and no Plum. Any chance the seller could send me a plum? On the plus side: I'm picky/intolerant about tastes and textures on my lips, so I do not like lipstick. I tried the BBees but it felt too soft, and the flavor/scent wasn't for me. I tried lip stains but they dried out my lips, even followed by chapstic. This, however! The taste is subtle, and has a hint of medicated lip balm, menthol-flavoring which I like! I'm hard to please when it comes to things on my face, can be very distracting and bothersome. But I am not bothered at all by anything about this! A huge win for me! Just feels like chapstic but gives a tint of color!

Love them!
These are great for color without lipstick. They have a nice shimmer that stays on well. I’ll probably buy a second set as a gift!
