100519523 Neverkink 8615-130, Heavy Duty Hose Reel Garden Hose, 5/8-Inch by 130-Feet

The hose is well made, however if you are going to store on a reel with wheels, understand that it is a very heavy hose and difficult to roll it back up. I broke the handle off of my newly received hose cart rolling it back up.

We hook several hoses together and run them several hundred feet to water trees on our ranch during droughts (like now) so want long hoses. We can’t find any hoses made as well as we could 10 or 15 years ago but these are better than most we’ve used. We set up a large tripod impact sprinkler in the middle of a grove of trees and let it run all night and so far this 130’ hose has stood up to it. Fairly light weight and flexible. Will kink but haven’t found one that won’t lately. No worse than any other and better than a lot. Wish they made it in a 3/4” size but no one else does either unless you buy the expensive commercial grade ones. All in all we’ll probably buy more of this brand as the older hoses wear out.

This is my second time buying this hose. First one lasted 10 years. It can kink, but it kinks 99% less than anything at Home Depot. It's the best long hose that I found.

Product clearly says neverkink, and it had two big kinks on one end where the plastic ties are on the packaging. I can cut it off and put a new end on, but it is not as advertised.

I used this on a hose reel and this hose is the worst I've ever had. It kinks horribly!!

I have bought a lot of hoses for my yard and this brand is the most sturdy I have found in the cheap range.

My husband is a huge fan of the Neverkink. He has been struggling with not long enough inferior hoses for several years now because he couldn't find them. (He's a dinosaur) SO I pulled them up on Amazon and said "ta da". They came within several days and he's been very happy since. We live in Phoenix so watering is a fairly big deal here. Leaks really cost money when water is this expensive. This one reaches easily to the far end of the property where we reinstalled new landscaping (hence the extra watering). AND NO KINKS!

Received 06/2016This is the first Neverkink hose I have bought and one of 4 hoses I own. I like it and would certainly buy it again. The packaging was easy to remove. The hose came coiled up and secured. The hose was NOT damaged or pre-kinked in any way. Based on previous reviews I am guessing the manufacturer has changed the packaging.Pros: Sturdy, Does not kink, Appears to be very good quality, No new hose smellCons: I think it may be slighter shorter than 130ft. Also I found the hose hard to connect to the faucet; which is unusual. The other end connected easily to the spray nozzle. This is why it got 4 or 5 stars.
