My order had arrived very fast, I believe within like two days or so. And all 8 bricks we're well packed and perfectly intact, they had a good solid feel to them with crisp edges and sharp corners, not at all crumbly or brittle like I had feared may arrive after having spent some time reading reviews from other purchasers. In the photo I only took six of the eight bricks out of the box so I that could keep the form within the box intact as I had planned to re pack the bricks and set aside untill i finish welding together the new kiln body ,transferring the pid controller over. I plan to follow up and update after I have had the chance to put some heat on them. But as of now, i am quite satisfied especially given the very reasonable price point.

I bought these to line my propane forge with. They are excellent for this application. They're easy to cut and hold up to the high temperatures. I had to trim the thickness down to work for my forge, which was very easy to do with just a regular old band saw. Be sure to keep extras around too. They're pretty fragile and came with some chips out of the box, with lots of dust at the bottom. So take care when opening and don't breathe in the dust! Overall a good product I would for sure buy again next time I need high-temp fire brick.

Good bricks, but..... Bricks are ok based on quality. More spongy than ather brand from competitors. That being more spongy makes tham much more fragile. And it definitely will be broken during delivery. Especially if it will not be packed right. Mine came if horrible package. One box was packed with styrofoam and other just with in the plastick bags dumped in the box. Of cause it will be broken. Packaging is one of great characteristics of the product and it makes product to come to customers in perfect condition. This point here is complete failure. Especially for this bricks because they are more fragile than others. After shopping around, these bricks are one of lowest price per brick, but quality and the way it was shipped, definitely makes you reconsider to buy it again from this seller. You can see on the pictures how many broken out of 16.🤷 Update: have a chance to request it again and this time it came all in good condition. I thing it is all about shipping services

These fire bricks are a nice size and weight. Unfortunately they do not seem to be the same size as the bricks used for my kiln. I had intended to add another ring to make it taller as the size of my work has grown. I may use them to build a second small kiln for PMC since the difference in size makes constrution more complicated. They are also useful as a surface fpr soldering or for torch firing enamels, or pmc. These bricks seem to be a bit lighter and more porous than the ones used to make my kiln. They are thick enough that in practice I do not think it will make an awful lot of difference, in terms of maintaining temperature. I have to say that the packaging is a marvel... and I never comment on packaging. They are really well protected, and that they arrived in Hawaii in perfect condition really says all it needs to.

Product itself works great for a small knife forge, packed well, but a few bricks came broken at no fault to the seller. Amazon box was caved in on one side resulting in some breakage, thankfully there are 8 of them.

These fire inflating bricks arrived in great condition and exactly as advertised. I was really surprised at how lightweight they feel, since they are much lighter than my other fire insulating bricks. I was sorry to note that they won't actually work in my fireplace because they are too thick, but that is a problem with my measuring and nothing wrong with the bricks. I think they should be useful in something, perhaps in creating a very safe outdoor fire ring or perhaps I will find another use. I don't have a way to test if they can truly withstand the temperatures that they claim to, but I can say that they are the dimensions advertised and are surprisingly lightweight for their size. Their appearance reminds me of pumice stone more than anything else.
