The wonders of You-tube.During lockdown I have watched more you tube stuff than I ever knew existed.On a channel about dressing tips there was a demonstration about 'cuffing your sleeves' for a casual look.To keep the in position you need 'sleeve garters'.The only ones I could find didn't look up to the job, but an idea came to me about using these stretchy invisible bobbles, and I have to say it works. As long as you don't have really thick arms (they would be uncomfortable), these bobbles will hide in amongst the folds of the cuffed sleeves keeping them in place.

So as a baldy I have absolutely no idea about these things but what I do know is that the better half loses hair bands on an hourly basis and as a matron she needs them! So I took a gamble and looked for what I thought would be nice. It seems I made the right choice and being the romantic I am, she loved this valentine present! She said they are good quality and is really happy with them. As the other two in the house are also trying to steal them I would guess I have to give these five stars.

These do leave marks in your hair just like bobble burn unfortunately, but other than that they are great. still the same tightness as a bobble without the ponytail headache which is great for me working 12 hour shifts with my hair up and wearing it up to bed! after the first use they are completely streched out and tangled looking but youre still able to put them in your hair afterwards.

Fab!Peoples comments who say they break it’s because they’re wrapping it around too many times. These are plastic and held together with melted plastic... not strong. Theses aren’t like regular bobbles. They’re not really meant for tight ponytails.I use them to put my hair in a twist bun over night (my hair isn’t thick) wrap it twice and it pretty much stays till morning.Cheap and last ages if you alternate between them to let them go back to their original shape. Love these a lot.

These are the only bobbles that won't slip out of my daughters hair. My daughter has thick hair and other bobbles don't wrap around properly but these are perfect. They stretch after a while but if you place them in boiling water, they shrink back. Had to buy myself a pack :)

I bought these because I wear my hair in ponytails a lot and I was finding my hair breaking where the hair tie goes. I found these hair coils easy to use and wrapped round my hair enough but when I came to take them out they don't slide out of your hair, they get tangled and ended up breaking more hair than a normal one would. They do grip the hair well though and they were pretty cheap, but I wouldn't recommend if you're looking for kinder hair ties for your hair.

Love these! They hold hair up extremely well all day and are of excellent quality too. They work in both my thick long hair and in my toddlers mop of unruly curls with no problems at all. I'm delighted with them, they don't snag the hair or leave annoying bobble kinks yet still offer perfect all day hold. Work excellently in dry or wet hair and are great value for money , honestly can't fault them at all. If after removing they seem to have stretched out of shape don't worry, pop them in very hot water and watch them miraculously regain their former shape before your eyes, brill! As an extra bonus they arrived super quickly too, thanks!

Product arrived in really good time and well packaged. Love these hair bands. I have really long, slippery hair and nothing has ever managed to keep my ponytails in place when I'm exercising but these are great! They keep my hair in with no problem and they don't feel tight or cause headaches. The best bit is they slide straight out when you're done and with zero snagging. Don't be put off by other comments saying the over-stretch easily. This is true, but blast them with a hairdryer on the hot setting for 10 seconds and you will see them shrink back to their original size, ready to be used again.
