Perfect lightweight durable non-stick frying pan
Great little frying pan. I initially used mess boxes for cooking but they were such a hassle to clean, so this non-stick frying pan is proving a joy. No matter what you cook, it's just a case of wiping it down with a cloth or some paper while you are out and then a normal wash once you get home. No scraping off residue food or burnt spots which won't come off. It really is a pleasure to use. It is very sturdy, with a fold down handle which locks into place, and then releases by depressing a button near the base. The plastic casing means you can hold the handle without the pan burning you - always a plus! Size wise it is perfect for one person or maybe two at a push, but this isn't going to cook your family or group dinner all in one go. I would recommend using it with a camping stove rather than a bushbox/fire, only because I used it on a bushbox and this has discoloured the base of the frying pan permanantly. A minor issue with no functional deficit, but using a gas stove will keep it looking brand new. The frying pans comes with a handy little carrying net to protect it a bit from scratches and scrapes. Definitely well worth buying this quality bit of kit.

Superb little pan
What a superb little pan, handle locks up perfectly, its light, spreads the heat well for this type of pan and the non stick is great at this price point. No idea of longevity but as it's merely a camping pan I am sure it will last years of trips. In my opinion, a great buy for campsite breakfasts.

Brilliant pan
Got this to replace a soto pan set, it's a great nonstick pan. It's not the lightest but it's very sturdy. The nonstick coating is Hard-wearing and the foldaway handle is very robust and I can tell it's going to last. The bottom line is, a slightly heaver, more expensive pan is SO much better in the long run than a lighter less durable one. It's not being blown off, it's not peeling nonstick material, it's handle is clicking into place, iam cooking anything from stew to a fry up or rice, and then iam just wiping it clean and not wasting water on it!

A great campfire pan - and a great kitchen pan!
So we bought this for a camping trip to Loch Lomond. It performed great; it took the intense heat of a campfire, got washed in the Loch and sanitised using alcohol wipes. Took it all. Couldn't ask for more for a camping pan. But our main frying pan at home then broke, so I whipped this out as an emergency replacement. Damn, it was so good it was a year before we replaced it. And even then because it's on the small side for an everyday pan. But it's cooked everything from scrambled eggs to steak. And it's still in perfect nick!

Quality frying pan.
Solid pan. Replaces a cheap, thin, kinda non stick generic pan. The YouTube videos were enough to convince me to buy this fire-maple frying pan.

Non stick
Perfect size & weight for backpacking. This pan works perfectly with my fire maple x2 Pro. It's light weight, folding handle is good and locks into place nicely. Sturdy design and a good non stick surface makes it easy to clean. Cooked up lamb chops and mushroom rice, good one man size or two at a push.

Good but handle could be improved
Good size and fairly lightweight for taking on hikes and solo camping. It seems like it would suffice for a cooking small meal for two. It has a nice feel to it when holding but be careful not to place the handle near open flames as the orange grip can melt away. The coating has held up great but the handle could use some improvement. I was cooking two thick cut steaks and due to the weight it folded shut and I almost lost the contents of the frying pan. To fix the issue, I bent the latch which secures the handle in the open position (using pliers on my multi tool). This means that I have to press the latch down to actually open the handle up (which is not originally required, only press to close). But the handle feels way more secure now and hasn’t folded in on itself while cooking. Due to the issues with the handle I have deducted only 1 star as it wasn’t too bad to fix. Overall is it still good value for money as it functions well for general purpose. Also comes with a drawstring net bag which is nice. If cooking heavy items it is best to be cautious of the handle.

All you need to know is I took this on the Appalachian trail and it performed flawlessly. It allowed me to bring a few things I normally don’t and cook them flawlessly. Solid no stick and easy clean. I used on an ultra light stove set up and it looks like it was never used. It will last a long time for sure. I highly recommend this for durability, weighs nothing, performs flawlessly.
