5.11 Tactical Downrange Cap

Large/XLarge was a perfect fit. I have a pretty big head, but this was great. Fits super snug. Actually, this is my 2nd purchase of the 5.11 tactical hat. The first hat (black) went through a GoRuck challenge and made it out alive - I know they're quality! It's actually the only cap I wear now, so I purchased this 2nd cap to have more options. Would definitely recommend: quality, affordable, looks great and the best part is: it feels great!

Between this and the Oakley cap of similar design, I would take the Oakley. This fits ok but is a little small. A pretty good cap none the less.

I was surprised to put this hat on and have it be so comfortable. I'm borderline x-large and this is a comfortable fit to my head. From a looks point of view I really like the rise of the front of the cap over my head. I have some that lay pretty flat and other are like giant billboards sitting on top of my head. Great fit and looks great. I'm going to order another one in a different color.

This is my absolute favorite hat ever! It's an excellent fitting hat, extremely comfortable and very durable. Only one issue (the reason it only gets 4/5) It seems to have an issue with discoloration once It gets sweaty. And I mean really discolored. More so than any other hat I've ever worn. I have this exact hat in tan, and just after wearing for a few hours and sweating in 100degree heat, it basically became "bleached" in the spots that got sweat. I've washed it and that only made the color issue even worse. But I still love it and wear the s*** out of it!

Good fit around the head. However, I don't like the way the front part with the hook and loop is stiff and sticks up in stead of fitting to the top of my head. If I knew it was like this I wouldn't have purchased it. Not my style of fit. Great quality though.

Love all my 5.11 tactical gear and this hat was an excellent addition. Cheaper than the dobby cap, but just as great, lightweight, and BREATHABLE! Fits a bit tighter than the dobby, but not uncomfortably snug. Works with any standard sized flag (or morale) patch, and since this is for my gear I operate with the IR patch I bought fits nicely. (1"X1" IR patch is slightly larger than the 3/4"x3/4" loop area on top of hat, but still works for it)

Nice looking cap but there is almost no sweat band around the forehead area. I live in Texas and this cap was sweat stained within the first week and looks pretty nasty. I wear various caps everyday for work and normally I get 5 or 6 months out of a decent cap before it starts staining like this. Would not recommend this cap and definitely will not order another one.

I love this hat. It fits perfectly and the flex fit is so much better than the buckle hats. I also like the front of the hat better and that it is more solid unlike other hats. I got a tan one in medium/large and it fits perfectly on my 7 1/2 head

This is a really well-made hat, definitely consistent with 5.11's reputation for quality. I have a large bucket of a head, and bought the L/XL. It has an elastic band which gives the hat a very forgiving fit. It sits fairly low on the head, but not so low that you can't wear sun or shooting glasses. The sides and rear are made from a tight-weave mesh, which allows it to breathe. Has 9cm x 4.5cm (3.5"x1.75") velcro on front for your patches, but still looks good without one. Great hat for the range or just casual wearing.

Really great hat, used it for around 2 years before it blew off the side of a mountain into the clouds never to be seen again. Was slightly tight at first, I bought an XL replacement and this fit much better.Not sure if this style is still available but the MK2 downrange hat is just as good and looks a little better.If anyone finds one of these rear Pen y Fan, Brecon Beacons its mine!

Sehr schöne Mütze, Sehr gute Qualität, sehr bequem und luftdurchlässig. Der ganze hintere Teil ist aus so ner Art luftdurchlässigen Stoff.

The xl is comparable to most M/L
