Mount to picture frames, artwork, plaques, wedding gifts, memorials, trophies, awards, and so much more. We use only high quality brass material. You will not see any of those cheap "metal-look" plates here! The plates are coated with a baked on enamel finish, and then engraved using our diamond drag engraving method. Then, engraving is darkened using an oxidizer solution. These plates are for indoor application only.

Looks like traditional hand-engraving!
This engraving is beautiful, deeply etched, and reminiscent of traditional hand-engraving. I liked this one so much that I ordered another as a book plate. It really upgrades the quality of a book given as a gift to include the recipient's name and the occasion with a special engraving on the cover. When you order from Rossi Engraving you can request an adhesive backing that works well for this use. In the past two decades the quality of most engraving has declined to thin and shallow scratches. That's true even at high end jewelry stores, so I was very surprised to be able to buy something so nice on Amazon!

Good quality and speed but adhesive strip is lacking
Quality is good and I got it fast but they seem to have gotten lazy with the adhesive strip, it only covers 3/4 of the back of plate. My experience is that this becomes a weak point if the plate gets snagged on clothing or something else the corner will bend backwards. Now my project is delayed as I search the internet looking to purchase adhesive strip. Also, I don’t know if the strip is 3M or not, most 3M adhesive is labeled and I found 3M to be the best.

Very nice quality!
Very well done piece of engraving. Just how I would have hoped it to look. The only downside was the backside had a smudge of black (what I assumed must have been ink that fills the engraving from the front) on the back side that bled onto the bottom edge of the engraving. Even so, it wasn't visible once affixed to the bottom side of my dogs urn, so I wasn't going to make a big deal about it. Overall, very satisfied and would order again.
