Will this hold a samsung tab 7 se?

cant say specifically for tab7e but: clamp only fixes along long side of tablet and should be ok for tabs with 7in-8in long dimension but CHECK IF buttons/vol control/power are only on top or bottom third of tablet edges otherwise they may be fouled. The clamps are slotted so in case of the 8in FireTab the power plugs in through the slot after clamping. My samsung 8in tab is also ok.

Will it fit a samsung tab s7fe-sm-t733n/sm-t736b and can it be wall mouted as well as bed mouted?

You can't wall it but works on a bedside table or bed headboard. My Samsung 10.5in tablet fits fine in it.

I can't get the holder into the right position on head board - it's like it's back to front? It doesn't bend in the right way. Maybe I've got a dud?

As you can see my headboard is against the wall. Ideally I would like the attachment to be the other way round. I have found I can get the iPad in all the positions I need. I hope this helps.
