Very happy with product but durability is unknown.

Bought one 38, as I use 36x36 jeans, however would need to consider maybe a 44 to fit me!Material is great quality, however is way too small…

It is really a dress not a kilt. Fair for costume party. Would not recommend

I bought this kilt for a costume. It fit wonderfully and was very comfortable to wear, I’d recommend getting a belt to go along with it though.

Bought the 36 waist which is what hubby wears in everything else but this was quite tight on him. Stitch work to make the gatherings is very thin and frail, he busted a couple just trying it on. Belt area is NOT real leather but will hold up kilt if it was the right size. Overall disappointing purchase for my husband's first kilt. I will definitely wait to buy from the vendors at the Scot-Irish festival in the fall.

Followed the sizing guide to the T but was still too small and tight in the waist, Returned for the next size up. But very pleased with the quality and workmanship.

Being the value kilt, I honestly wasn't expecting too much out of this. I was so surprised when it came in. I bought a kilt from Scotland at festival for much more than this and they are so similar, even the fabric is the same and quality so good. 2 differences, this kilt has a stiffer waist which isn't so adaptable for females and this one has all the pleats sewn down in the back and I'm unsure if it's ok to remove that so the pleats open. But it's ok with them sewn down, it still works. Definitely thinking of buying from this company again, in male and female kilts.

For the price it is a good kilt. Looks good and you can wear it anywhere. The service from Tartanista is Excellent. I have bought two Kilts from them and never had a problem..

Als Bagpiper habe ich mir von einem Kiltmaker einen maßgeschneiderten Kilt anfertigen lassen. Der hat mich dann aber auch 350€ gekostet. Den nicht ganz unerheblichen Preisunterschied darf man nicht vergessen, wenn wir über den hier gekauften Kilt sprechen. Soweit als kleine Einleitung...Um bei den Highland-Games im Nachbarort teilnehmen zu können, habe ich für die ganze Mannschaft Kilts für den schmalen Geldbeutel gesucht und war ganz überrascht über die hier angebotenen Kilts. Für schlappe 40€ kann man sich keinen Kilt selber nähen und die sollen ja ursprünglich auch nur zu den Games halten. Die gelieferten Kilts haben mich angenehm überrascht. Die Verarbeitung und der Stoff sind für den Preis absolut in Ordnung! Das Aussehen, der Zuschnitt, die Lederschnallen, die Falten - Ich kann echt nicht meckern. Die werden garantiert nicht nur die anstehenden Games überleben.Es gibt Leute, die sich in anderen Rezessionen beschwert haben, dass die Nähte aufgehen, aber ich gehe mal stark davon aus, dass die aus Unwissenheit die Transportnähte meinen, die zweifach zum Schutz der Falten eingenäht sind - die müssen sogar raus, wenn man den Kilt tragen will! Wenn ich wieder einmal einen Kilt für eine Highland-Veranstaltung brauche, den man auch mal beim Baumstämmeschubsen und Findlingewerfen einsauen kann, werd ich um diese Kilts nicht herum kommen... zu dem Preis sind die einfach unschlagbar!

The kilt arrived in good shape with just one corner folded over and needing a touch with a warm iron. The loose stitches to hold the pleats in during travel are VERY large - I can't see how anybody would have trouble removing them, even wearing mittens! The 'cotton' lining is definitely a shiny synthetic fabric - my guess wiould be terylene. Three leather straps give a good fit and there are two belt loops.I looked up kilt hire for Burns night and found that I could buy this kilt, kilt hose (see separate review) a belt with buckle and a sporran for about the same cost. Now I've got an outfit I can use again. Wear it twice and I've made a profit!

Mon neveu m'avait demandé de lui fabriquer un vrai kilt irlandais pour fêter la Saint Patrick. J'ai préféré le commander sur Tartanista après avoir notamment lu les commentaires et je ne regrette pas car en ouvrant ses cadeaux, mon neveu a tout lâché pour aller immédiatement l'essayer. En plus de bien lui aller, il a adoré le fait qu'il venait de Londres. La livraison a été rapide. Mon seul problème a été de choisir la taille car différente de celle française. Petites astuces : Appris avoir mesuré le tour de taille de la personne, il faut se reporter aux mesures qui figurent entre guillemets après la taille en UK.
