Nice Apple-layout keyboard
This keyboard features the Apple keybard layout. Everything is where it’s supposed to be, which is a big plus for me even though I’m not a touch typist. I don’t have to hunt for the punnctuation keys, etc. Most of the punctuation keys are narrower than the rest, which will take some getting used to, but so far, so good. The thing is skinned in aluminum, so it’s probably fairly durable if the hinges hold. The fold-out shelf to hold your phone is narrow. When I put the phone (in its silicone case) on it in landscape mode, it stays there, just fine, but it doesn’t actually fit down into the groove of the shelf. In portrait mode, it just falls right over. I assume the same would be true with a tablet. You’d need to remove it from the case to get it safe in that groove. It paired easily and then worked right out of the box without my telling it to be an iOS keyboard. (It has functon switches for Android, Windows and iOS.)I wish it were backlit, but I haven’t seen an aluminum-cased, horizontal-fold, Apple-layout backlit keyboard for anything near this price, so I’m satissfied with this.No idea about durability or longevity yet (I just got it).

Some Good, But More Bad Than Good
I bought the BATTOP Foldable Bluetooth keyboard for use with my Android phone and Logitech Bluetooth mouse. The price of the device coupled with the shipping perk of Amazon Prime led to my purchase."The Good"1. The keyboard is incredibly compact. It folds together to something akin to a pouch of competition darts.2. The keys feel okay and their touch and Bluetooth sensitivity are decent for the speed of my work.3. Whether Mac or PC user, there's no problem with functionality - this keyboard has function (Fn), control, alt/option and command keys.4. There's a red led that comes on when the keyboard charges."The Bad"1. Led lights do not continue to illuminate for power, Bluetooth or any other status for the duration of use, once the device has been unplugged from the charger. This seems like a move made by the manufacturer to conserve power, but it's a drawback for the user.2. There is no way to check how much charge life is remaining for the internal battery.3. The CAPS led is nonfunctional; I'm not sure if that is the case for every one of these devices or if it is a flaw for mine only. I'm debating the seriousness of the failure against the need to return for replacement.4. It's flimsy. The quality of construction feels like something I could have purchased from a local dollar store.5. The led function indicator lights are easily hidden by the length of my Android phone.6. If you want to see the led charging light, the device must be completely opened up; this could have been avoided by installing the led on the side of the device, immediately next to the Micro USB input.7. The platform lip does not work well with modern mobile phone cases; i.e. the Android device is close to sliding onto the keyboard after a few minutes of typing (this review).8. No dedicated escape (Esc) key; however, you can escape by either holding Fn and ~ or clicking the right button on the Bluetooth mouse.

I would have been ok dealing with this since it folded up nice and small
This keyboard felt fairly low quality, though it looked nicer in the pictures. My tablet wouldn't stand up since it was too heavy (nexus 7, on the smaller end of tablets). I would have been ok dealing with this since it folded up nice and small, but the keyboard was too buggy. It connected easily to two devices, but would double many keystrokes, and ignore others. This is me typing the same sentence at normal speed a few times on my tablet and phone using this keyboard. It looks like H and J doubled most, but it did it to other letters too.Thhe quick brown fox jjumped ove thhe lazy dog.Thhe quick brown fox jumped over thhe lazy dog.Thhee quick bbrownn fox jumped ove thhe lazy dog.The quick broown fox juped ver thhe lazy dog.The quick brown fox jumped over thhe lazy dog.The quick brown fox jumped over thhe lazy og.

No longer holds a charge, totally worthless without "hacks" to keep it working.
I purchased this product back in July of this year (it's now December). This product did not hold up even under light use (2 hours a day, 2-3 times a week). I used this for my iPad. It connected like a charm and worked just fine the first couple of months, but the product no longer holds a charge. Typically, the Micro USB charge ports don't last and thought it might be a connection issue. I found a creative way to angle the keyboard to charge, but even then it will not transmit, even though the device is connected. I mitigated this by bringing a portable power supply, but what the heck is the internal battery for if I have to do this. The nylon case that comes with this is a tight fit and rips after a couple of uses. Nevertheless, there are better products out there than this at a lower price. I thought I was getting a good deal when I bought this as a flash sale. This keyboard's price has not changed since the time I bought it. I recommend you look elsewhere for your keyboarding needs.

Frustrating
The keyboard has a 6 digit pairing code which you enter on the keyboard itself rather than on the device you are pairing the keyboard to. If you mistype it more than twice on one device, it stops displaying the code. Even if you memorized or wrote down the pairing code, the keyboard will not pair. There is no way I could find to reset it. The battery is soldered in. If anyone knows how to reset the keyboard, please let me know.

It Works. It is really portable and priced very well.
I love this little thing. If you ever want to take a lot of notes with your phone or tablet (mine are apple) then this is a slick little unit to make that happen. I've used other logitech kinds of keyboard covers for my tables, but they never really worked well for the iPhone, as they were a bit too awkward. I saw this product mentioned on CNET by one of the authors, and I immediately purchased it. The author was correct. This is a great little inexpensive keyboard that can be used with a variety of products. Surface, Tablets, phones, TVs etc. Overall, I recommend it.
