Is the tap threaded or is there a way to connect a hose to it with the right fittings?

Not threaded and no way to connect a hose, unless you replaced the tap with another fitting of some sort. I use a large pitcher and sparge with that. Works beautifully.

Would this work if I plugged it into a 50 Hz power supply?

No. The timer requires a 60 hz power source.

Where can you see the target temp you are setting too? The photos show no display nor gradations.

I usually set the heater knob to 70 (degrees celsius) which is around 150 degrees fahrenheit.

what is the package size? I got 60cm x 30cm x 30cm from the product description but is it the box size or the heater itself?

Hi there, that must be the heater size. The box size is 35.5cm X 34.5cm X 61cm
