Great kit for polishing lenses
Good sized kit for a good price. I’ve been doing some headlight restorations and polishing backup camera lenses on my older cars with oxidation. These multi step pads are just what i needed and they work great. I haven’t been beating them up, but they seem fairly durable for regular and light use. If you go in steps and use good cutting/polishing compounds, these will polish everything up well and leave it nice and shiny with ease.

Worked GREAT!!
This worked very good and the lens look amazing. Can't beat it for the value. It was very easy to use. Just make sure you keep the lens wet with water while sanding. I did use Meguiar's headlight coating to help protect the lens.

Makes a difference
My headlights were really cloudy, so was looking for something to clear it up a bit. This product did a pretty good job as you can see in the pictures. If you can, remove the light fixture so that you don’t scratch the paint like I did on the first side. Pros: It clears up the cloudiness. You have enough product to do a few cars if needed, or to clear it up even more. Very easy to follow steps. The sanding pads are labeled and color coded. Cons: What you don’t see is that the headlight case still has little circle scratches left on them. I’m not going to a car show, so I’m not worried about it. The instructions don’t come in the box, so take a snapshot so you don’t have to keep going back to the page. I wish they had more to it, like how long I should sand and with it looks like after each pass.

Just okay
Not terrible, but from having used it now I believe you’re better off just hand sanding. I did the first headlight with the kit using a drill and had “okay”results. Second headlight I used the kit but did all of it by hand and the results were much better. If I were to do it again I’d just go pick up the various sand paper grits I need at the hardware store and skip the kit.

This is a great kit!!
So, for all of the people saying it's not that good etc you don't know what you're doing. YOU HAVE TO USE WATER ON THE SANDING DISCS!!!! (It's called wet sanding) This will take a long time if you want glass like results. The idea is to remove all much of the bad surface with low numbers, keep going up and up to 3000. Once you get to 3000, YOU HAVE TO COMPOUND AND POLISH. The pads and sand paper are good stuff! I have another 2 inch kit and when they got wet the Velcro backing fell off. I'm pleased with this quality. I have a semi-professional Dual Action Buffer as you can see in the pics. The orange pad that comes with this is AWESOME. Really cuts through scratches. Better than my DA. You will need to buy some rubbing compound and polish. Maguire's m105 Ultra Cut Compound is what I used and it's fantastic. I used that on the orange pad. Polishing after that with the black foam pad using Maguire's Ultimate Polish (in a black bottle) with faster speed than the compound. This light is looking so amazing. Zero haze at all after polishing. I am very pleased with this kit.

Take your time follow the steps, trust it gets worse before it gets better.
I used this to clean the wife’s Acadia cloudy headlights. The “instructions” or steps to follow are son the side of the box. It’s not a quick process, multiple steps involved probably took 2 hours per head light. I did leave on the car and taped the car up with multiple layers of painters tape around the headlight. After doing all that I followed with this product Brand: MPD MPD Cobalt Charm Headlight Restorer – 8 oz | Removes Yellowing, Haze & Oxidation | Restores Lens Clarity & Brightness | Enhances Nighttime Visibility as a “finishing step” wife thought I bought new headlights. It’s been a week and we will see how long it looks good but this process is cheaper than replacing the headlights for $500-600. I have the XID lights. Sorry no before and after pictures.
