I have quite long straight hair which is prone to tugs and split ends. I wanted to get a brush that would help keep my hair healthier and smoother, and while it was a little pricier than I’d normally want to spend on a brush, I figured brushes last years! It was definitely worth it, my hair look feels and looks amazing when I use it. It’s clearly kinder to my hair than the previous nylon bristle brushes I’d used, as there is a a much more consistent, smoother texture and feel to my hair, less split ends, and it’s neither too dry or too oily. I do tend to have to use the wooden comb first, but it also does a great job of tackling knots. I’d highly recommend this product - my hair is so much healthier and looks and feels loads better now! I’ve never really been someone who spends ages on her hair, but I actually love brushing my hair now because of how lovely it looks and feels after!!

This brush has made a real difference to the shine on my hair. I had a Mason & Pears brush which was lost and I couldn't quite bring myself to replace like for like and I am glad I didn't as this brush is perfectly adequate. It is well made and I have experienced no bristle loss. It doesn't go through my thick hair easily but that has just encouraged me to brush more thoroughly which of course stimulates the scalp which is want is required for healthy hair. The brush came very well presented in a box with a bag to keep it in and with a wooden wide tooth comb. You could not ask for much more - would make a great gift.

Such good quality! The packaging is so thoughtful, came with a comb for before you use it, a little bag to put the brush in and a spa headband; feels luxurious and a lot of thought has gone into it! It also came with instructions on how to use it and how to clean it which came in handy (it’s my first boar brush). I love the idea that they plant a tree as well with a QR code that you scan. I really love everything about this product, couldn’t fault it! :)

Firstly, the packaging of this item arrived slightly ripped, but overall, the product quality is good.Just take note that the bristles are extremely soft, and do not detangle your hair at all ( This type of brush is used only to distribute natural oils and sebum on your hair but the bristles barely comb through my hair)The product is well made, but quite pricey compared with other brushes that are also 100% boar bristles.Thanks for reading my review and I hope it helps :)

I’ve always had a lot of hair but very fine, and struggled with a sensitive scalp. As soon as I brushed my hair with this I could feel the improvement and see the shine. Wish I had known about bristle brushes sooner. Shortly after this I tried washing my hair with Rhassoul Clay too - both recommended by ‘Katherine Sewing’ on YouTube. What difference they make to someone with life long extra fine hair - WOW. Also really loved the fact that this purchase invited me to plant a tree in my name. Brilliant product and company, highly recommend this as a styling brush to thinker your hair and leave it looking super healthy!

I decided to buy this brush after 100% bore bristle brushes were recommended in a historical haircare video and honestly my hair has never felt so nice after a brush.I used the comb first to detangle (bottom to top) and soon realised you have to take things slow with this type of brush. I sectioned off my hair and brushed each section bottom to top and honestly the amount of dust and fuzz the comb got out was amazing it felt as if I had washed my hair and conditioned it when I finished and my ends have never been that soft since bleaching it.I did lose a bristle in the first session which is probably a sign that I'll be a repeat customer but from how soft and shiny my hair was after just using these properly I'll be a happy repeat customer indefinitely! And besides my hair is bushy and curly and it even tackled some of my frizz! Love it!

Overview: I have enjoyed testing this brush and all the little extras that come with it. I think it definitely distributes your natural oils well across your hair rather than them all being at your roots (naturally), and adds shine to the hair whilst smoothing.What you receive: a boar bristle brush, a wooden comb, a towelling hair band and a canvas bag to keep them in, along with the gift box and instructions it arrives in.Instructions: You are meant to use the comb first to detangle any knots and then go in with the bristle brush from root to tips.Quality: The products are all made using good quality products and you can really feel that when using them. The brush has a heaviness to it that feels firm/strong and not flimsy. I like how the brush and comb are made from a wooden material rather than plastic as every little helps in reducing plastic waste! They also make the products feel more luxurious and long lasting.Using the products: I have enjoyed testing the brush and comb. The comb isn’t for me personally, I don’t usually use combs as my hair gets quite tangled especially at the nape of my neck so I need a strong brush to tease them out. However, I’ve really gotten on well with the brush. I’ve recently had a baby so through postpartum I got a lot of hair loss and breakage; I was wanting to find a brush that was gentle on my hair but improved the look, feel and health of it... which is what this brush does for me. It doesn’t pull or yank on my hair and never hurts, even if there’s a knot!Cons: for me, it’s about the brush being made using boar bristles however it’s explained that it’s harvested boar bristle and is cruelty free. The boar bristles also ensure a minimum hair loss whilst brushing which is exactly what it does, and what my hair needs... so isn’t a con!Overall, I would recommend this brush especially if you experience hair loss whether it’s from postpartum/hormones/natural shedding cycle etc.

Gentle hair brush for before going to bed, no good for styling/drying. Simply to brush dried hair.
