As an avid woodworker and DIY enthusiast, I recently invested in the Rockler All-Terrain Mobile Base for my workshop, and it has truly been a game-changer. This mobile base has made moving heavy shop tools and equipment a breeze, providing exceptional stability and ease of use.First and foremost, the build quality of the Rockler All-Terrain Mobile Base is outstanding. The sturdy construction and high-quality materials used instill confidence that it can handle heavy loads. I was particularly impressed with its weight capacity, holding up to 800 lbs effortlessly. One of the standout features of this mobile base is its "all-terrain" design. The large, robust wheels and 360-degree swivel casters allow me to maneuver my tools smoothly across various surfaces, including rough workshop floors. I no longer have to worry about struggling with heavy lifting or damaging my floors when repositioning my equipment. The installation process was straightforward, and all the necessary hardware was included in the package. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, allowing me to assemble the mobile base in no time.Once assembled, I found the mobile base to be incredibly stable. It firmly supports my table saw, bandsaw, and other heavy equipment, eliminating any wobbling or instability during operation. I can confidently use my tools without any concerns about their stability on the base. The adjustable size feature is a fantastic addition to this mobile base. With a simple foot-operated lever, I can easily adjust the size to fit various tools in my workshop. This versatility is incredibly convenient, saving me the trouble of having multiple bases for different tools.Another noteworthy advantage of this mobile base is its safety features. The foot-operated locking lever securely locks the wheels in place, preventing unintended movement during use, which adds an extra layer of safety to my workshop.Overall, the base has been an excellent investment for my workshop. Its sturdy build, ease of use, and smooth maneuverability make it an essential tool for any woodworker or DIY enthusiast. I highly recommend this mobile base to anyone looking for a reliable, versatile, and safe solution to move heavy shop tools and equipment.

AMAZING QUALITY - YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
Stop looking at other bases. This is the best, period. I was hesitant due to the price but now I own 3 of them. they are great for moving heavy equipment around the shop like My JJP-12 I also use them for transporting it through some grass and gravel along with some plywood sheets and they work great. When they claim All-Terrain, they mean it. Yes, They are expensive but you get what you pay for right? So you can go the "cheap route" but then you'll likely end up trashing the other bases and come back to buy this one eventually, so why not just buy it now?

I'll save you some time...
I'll save you some time with my 5 step plan:1) Get out of your seat2) Go into your shop3) Count the number of heavy tools you have4) Go back to your seat5) Click "Buy It Now" and input the number from step 3.Easy to assemble, very strong, rolls well when you want it to, stays put when you want it to. All aspects of this base that make it worth the price tag. I will be purchasing more when I acquire more tools that need them. If you're like me, this actually has the potential to save you money. I purchased the Jet Deluxe Xacta Saw over the Powermatic because I don't need built in castors when I have an incredibly functional base like this under my saw! Net savings of about 900 dollars? Yes please. I will be back for more.

Rockler Mobile Base *SOLID*
I spent considerable time looking at various mobile bases for my 450 lb table saw. Most of them did not have good reviews from folks whom purchased them. I didn't find any deal breaking reviews on this Rockler Mobile Base. The locations of the mounting positions on the frame size worked very well with my saw base, leaving only about 3/4 inch around each side. The saw is very stable sitting in the frame and really glides on the garage floor with the hard urethane tires. Wheel locks are solid. Only twisted off one bolt during assembly....would only be a few pennies for them to use grade 5 or better bolts to help avoid that problem folks! I may add three or four screw lifts to sides of the frame to facilitate leveling. Overall... satisfied... got what I expected.

Rolls well, but....
Rolls well, but.... Do not like the swiveling wheels lock. They stop the wheel from rolling but not swiveling. You have to go around to the back to lock the brakes in the rear. A bit of a hassle in a space constrained environment. The housings for the swivel wheels are robust but still allow for flex with my saw stands angled legs. Will have to brace the gap between the two. Swapped the undersized metric fasteners with longer grade five 1/4 20s. The provided fastners did not come across as up to the task. Although the wheels are large, it is still very close to the floor. That kind of defeats ground clearance on uneven surfaces. Lastly, as the wheel housings are very large, it is tricky to get a fully assembled saw inside the framework. I had to partially disassemble and then elevate each side up on steel saw horses to get it in place. I bought this to upgrade from a Delta mobile lift base that you assemble with hardwood stretchers. The one foot lever wasn't able to support the weight. Will go back to it once I put it a second one on it as it is a more convenient design. Would not buy this again.

After using this, there is NO BETTER mobile base around.
Very strong, easy to use. Glides over my shop floor....and all other debris. Performs as advertised, even better. Its a little more expensive...and you cant make it cheaper yourself (I looked into it). It is very well made. If I get another machine over 100 lbs, it is going on one of these bases. I mistakenly purchased HTC mobile bases prior to this one, and I have replaced all of them with the All-terrain base. How many more will I buy? As many as required. I love it.
