They are paper thin in packaging but when the water hits them the look just like picture. The are soft yet abrasive. My husband even uses them for his bald head. I love them. I use one for like 2 weeks give or take. ( I typically wash my face 2-3 times a day depending on the activities )

So when I first got them I was like wtf is this? They are thin as paper but when you run it under water they become a full sponge, love that.
