I use this lotion to numb for tattoos. It’s not too thick and not too thin. This product isn’t sticky or greasy. Super easy to use. I put a pretty thick layer on then wrap it in Saran Wrap for about 2 hours before my appt. Will keep u numb for about 3 hours. Once it wears off the pain is worse than if u had never had the cream. So make sure the tattoo will take less than 3 hours. Mine wound up taking 6 hours and the pain was almost unbearable. I stuck it out though and got a beautiful tattoo. The longevity is again great for a 3 hour or less tattoo so keep that in mind. There is no greasiness even when u wipe it off. Make sure to check with your tattoo artist that you can numb before hand. If they won’t let you then u need to find a better artist! A good artist will let you numb beforehand. This will not alter the texture of ur skin. So the tattoo is a smooth easy process as if nothing is on your skin. Make sure when u remove the Saran Wrap u don’t wash the cream off you just wipe it off with a towel. I have bought this cream 2 times now. It is a large tube so it’s great for larger pieces. I would suggest going in different days in 3 hour increments. This would be better for the pain control. I have 16 tattoos and have used this 3 times. Sometimes I just like to feel the pain of a normal tattoo lol.

This is such a wonderful product but not something you want to use on everything. I use it once a week to numb an area where I have to give myself a particularly painful autoinject medication. I also use it on super itchy patches of ezcema. It makes it more comfortable for me to sleep at night as the relief is so wonderful. The relief from the itching and pain from the severe ezcems patches lasts all night long. This cream is the most effective itch and pain relief cream I have tried and lasts the longest. It is easy to use, just be sure to read the instructions and do not use it in places like the eyes, mouth, or other places listed in the instructions. Well worth the price as a little bit goes a long way.

Many of the other reviews said they got immediate relief from pain and itching when using this product, I didn’t get immediate relief but it worked so much better than other products, I didn’t mind waiting! The cream wasn’t at all greasy or sticky and there was absolutely no smell.Overall the PRODUCT is a 10/10. The packaging is another story. I could not get the cap off (and I tried for more than 30 minutes), Fortunately, my husband got home and was able to open it for me.Bottom line, I would buy it again. If you haveproblems with caps, make sure you have someone to help or you’re going to have a pretty tube to display and no relief!

One of the few products that has help the back door pain BUT, does it really have to be adult proof? Can’t you make the cap so people who have bad arthritis hands open tube? Can’t you make tube more stable to push, twist & pull cap? After spending 30 minutes getting inside adult proof cap off the regular cap does not fit! Really! Fix it!

This didn’t work for me. I bought it to calm down my aching knees. Didn’t notice any effect. However it did calm down an itch rash from working in the yard. Thought it might be ivy, but it was gone the next day. Cream did help. Goes on easily. Tube is super easy to control how much comes out. No real strong scent like Bengay-type products.
