Simmons Beautyrest Thera Bed Orthopedic Memory Foam Dog Bed and Kennel / Crate Mat

This is a good mat and I wish it had fit the crate I have. The crate is 19" wide and this mat is 21" wide. There was no way to make it fit so I had to return it. Maybe it is intended as a bed rather than a crate mat because it doesn't seem to follow the standard crate sizes. The previous crate mat I ordered stated it measured 29" x 21"; however, when I actually measured the mat that's not what it measured. (It measured 30 x 19.) My mistake was not measuring before I ordered.

I thought it was fine, but my dog didn't like it. She wined all night for about 3 nights so I put her old bed on top and that is how it has been ever since. I think it doesn't smell good to her, although she is accepting of toys. It is the right size for her crate and Amazon made it very easy to shop for it by measurements, which I appreciated, after wasting much time unable to find the right size on doggy sites. It also is a nice color.

I have a 7 pound Maltese and her bed that she had didn't have enough cushioning in the bottom. I noticed when she would lay in her bed that she was actually laying on the ceramic tile with just the bottom material of her dog bed between her and the floor. I looked around at different memory foam beds for her, but all I was finding was 4" thick beds. When I saw the Simmons Beautyrest Bed was only 2" thick I took a chance and bought it. Her current bed has nice tall edges on 3 sides of it, with the 4th side having a shorter edge. She likes to lay up against the sides when she sleeps. Since the Simmons Beautyrest bed doesn't have sides on it, I placed her bed on top of it. This way she gets the benefit of the memory foam bed and she still has the sides on the bed. She really likes it.The 4" foam beds I felt were too tall for her, where the 2" Simmons Beautyrest bed was just the right height. It would be nice if they made this bed with sides on it so the pet could sleep against the sides. But, by putting her bed on top of the memory foam, it works just as well.I will be ordering a couple more of these for her other beds she has throughout the house.

We had this for a little over a year. Our Shih Tzu loved it. However, after one random pee accident it needs to be replaced. It went through into the foam under the washable cover. Just ordered a replacement that's waterproof with a different company. We also tried to wash it but it still stinks.

This dog bed was exactly what I had been searching for. My older dog has hated every dog bed I've ever gotten him. To say that he is picky is an understatement. He's a Labrador so I purchased the largest bed. He fits nicely on it with a little room to spare. This wasn't fluffy, and it wasn't too thick for him to get on; it was perfect. He's nearly 12 years old and has terrible arthritis so I wanted something more than just a blanket for him to lay on. Minutes after this arrived and I unpacked it from the box he laid on it and stayed on it for hours. I wish I would have found this earlier because he loves it. He now chooses this as his favorite place to sleep and I couldn't be happier. I'm very happy with this purchase and when he wears it out, which I'm certain that he will, I will definitely purchase this bed again. It's well worth the price for a happy dog.

My pup pulled up the corner with the zipper and pulled it open then shredded/ate some of the foam in that corner. cover is removable and washable, comes out like new and easily fits back onto the foam.A locking or tuck-away zipper would be a nice touch. otherwise great and comfy bed!

This crate pad is perfect for my 11-pound dog. She has intermittent, chronic back pain with negative x-rays. I prefer to treat her with support and crating to keep her immobile when needed, and use muscle relaxants and anti-inflammatories only on an as-needed basis for flare-ups. This crate pad comes in enough different sizes that I could find one that was small enough to fit into her smallish crate, even with a crib bumper guard around the edges. She is on it now, and it is firm enough that there is no depression in the pad in the area where she is lying. The price is very reasonable, and there is a removable cover for washing. I definitely recommend this pad!

This dog bed is listed as being "MEMORY FOAM". It is really just cheap, light weight waffle foam. Far from the "memory foam" gel that I was hoping for. It will do as an underlayment for an older dog bed that has lost a little of it's plushness for our older dog. Would not buy it again.

I measured to fit this in my dog's crate in the car.She seems to really like it (comfy)!A bit tricky to clean when it gets dirty (which happens a lot after the dog park to the car). You'll need to fully remove the outside cover and put into the wash. Kind of wish the top part was able to "wipe-clean", but otherwise a good bed for a crate.

My dog loves this he is 25 lbs and 16 years old. He can't climb so the bed is thin enough that he can comfortable get on it. He loves it and it is easier for him to get on and off because of the memory foam firmness.Mel

The bed isn't waterproof...I wouldn't recommend it if you are housetraining your puppy.I'm returning and getting a refund.

Its not memory foam its just a cheap piece of foam in a fabric cover. I could have made it for cheaper
