Arrived on time and in great condition. Great price and lights up very well. Nice size for a 7 foot Christmas tree. Looks good.

This star is exactly what I was looking for! It is lightweight so it stays upright on the tree (fake tree) really nicely. It has a good base that stretches down to ensure the star has enough to hold on to. The light is a soft yellow/white-ish light. It takes 3 AAA batteries. Here it is shown on top of a 6.5' tall tree. I do wish it did not take AAA batteries as it makes the battery case heavy and cumbersome. It's on a short cord so unless you are tall (we are) and can reach it to turn it on and off, I could see that being an issue for some people. It would seem this would be better as an LED star. But besides that, the star itself is very pretty and we are happy with it for the price.

I love the natural look to this topper, it honestly looks even better in person. The only issue is that it’s a little heavy for some fake trees (it took about ten minutes to get it to stand up straight), we were able to get it to work eventually though. It doesn’t drain batteries but having another cord to plug in wasn’t an option for us. Overall we love it and will be using it for many years to come!

We bought this for our Christmas tree topper. It’s beautiful and really tied the tree together. It was easy to set up, light weight, and sturdy. One thing maybe I missed in the product description is this is battery powered and doesn’t hook up to the Christmas lights string.

I was really excited about this Christmas tree topper star, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. While it looks nice at first glance, the lights works for a couple of minutes before it shuts off completely. It’s poorly made and feels flimsy. I tried adjusting it, but nothing helped.This product is definitely not worth the money, especially considering how important durability is for holiday decorations. If you're looking for a reliable tree topper, I’d recommend skipping this one.

Was super excited to use the product but found it more difficult than we would’ve thought to keep it on top of the tree. Had to bend the top of the tree into two branches to get it to stay.

We really love the look of the star, but it didn't fit on the fake 6 ft tree that we got. The top branch was just too weighed down by the star. For a larger tree, whether real or artificial, this should be no trouble. It's not cast iron or anything, just a bit heavier than what our tree could handle. It was too nice to part with and return, so instead I put it in our window and set it to turn on at sunset. The battery pack has three settings: on, off and timer. Setting it to timer will keep it on for 6 hours and then it will turn off for 18 hours. That worked for us. Dealing with a battery pack on lights like this is always tricky with trees. You practically have to hang the battery pack like an ornament underneath the star in the back of your tree. If we get a new tree next year we will no doubt use this star for it.
