Used this to help remove a flexible solar panel stuck on a campervan roof.Limited success cable wore away & snapped, but plenty of spare & this was not the intended purpose

What a waste of time and money! The wire is to thin and snaps after one pull. This will not remove bonded vehicle windows

This windscreen wire puller has very strong, well made plastic handles with a steel taper barrel and central feed bore for the wire to be fed through and gripped really well.The wire appears strong and is supplied on a sturdy dispenser. Whilst the advertising blurb doesn't state the length of wire you get, the dispenser does have 72' marked on it but it's only half full. So I measured it and it's about 10m/33ft long - which is half of the typical length that windscreen wire is sold in (20m). The blurb makes no claim that the wire is carbon steel, which some competitors do claim. Replacement wire is easily obtained, though 20m may cost almost as much as this kit.In summary, good basic kit at a reasonable price.

Ordered this to help with removing my project cars windscreen. Having done if before with items I've had laying about it was a nightmare. Decided I wanted to try a kit that the pros use so ordered this. The handles feel great quality, plastic handle with a metal body. The wire is nice and thick but thin enough for the intended use.I haven't yet used the kit but tried it out having a play and I'm confident that it'll be able to help remove the windscreen with ease.
