I initially found the sizing chart a bit confusing but ordered a size Small as the chart suggested this would be the correct size, it was. I am 5ft 8" 70kgs 40" chest, so probably on the smaller size for a grown adult.The jacket is a perfect for me, the right length in the body and across the shoulders and chest.I like clothes snug fitting as opposed to lose or baggy, so maybe gauge by my dimensions what size might best suit you.The jacket itself feels like it is of good quality there are no lose threads which is always a good sign of attention to detail. The stitching appears good and strong and the jacket is generally well made.Six external pockets with either press stud fasteners or zips and one internal pocket on the left side.The zipped breast pockets can take a 15cm long smart phone but it is a bit of a squeeze.I bought the Black jacket but will order another in grey and one in olive green.You can wear this jacket with jeans and shirt/tee-shirt and it looks smart or even with slacks and shirt for smart casual.It is an ideal driving jacket as it's short enough not to be sitting on it as it sits at hip length.I would recommend this jacket as a good buy.

I wasn't too sure what to expect and I nearly always purchase an item based on customer reviews. The jacket itself was very well made of a good quality thick cotton which would ensure warmth and there were lots of useful pockets. The colour (I bought khaki) was exactly as pictured and it was a very stylish jacket. But the sizing was so wrong even though it said "true to size" for UK sizing. I ordered a medium for my son expecting a 40-42" chest 5and it was extremely large. When zipped it measured exactly 46" across the chest which is an XL and although I'd really like to buy another one, I'm concerned that the small size might still be equivalent to a UK large as there is usually only 2" difference between sizes. I've had to return it to seller (free returns) and am awaiting my refund.

The good reviews?!The jacket is awful. It’s not even black. It’s dark brown. It’s also washed out, shapeless and completely shoddy. It looks like something a homeless crackhead might wear. This jacket isn’t worth £10, let alone £40. Save yourself the bother and don’t buy this absolute garbage. You have been warned!!

This jacket is a very attractive style. It's cotton on the outside, but it's lined with thin polyester. I had thought the lining would be a cotton-poly mix. The cuffs and bottom are nicely stretch-y, and the black is a good, true black. The zip isn't as smoothly running as it should be initially, although it improved. The washing instructions are confusing, as a cardboard label on the outside says it can be machine washed and tumble dried low, but the sewn-in label on the inside says it can be machine washed but not tumble dried at all. Oddly, it's heavy to carry but feels light when worn. I'm not sure about it's warmth outdoors as I haven't worn it outdoors yet. It's bulkier than I thought it would be. It's made in China.

Im 5' 9'' and about 13 stone. All my clothes fall within the medium size, this jacket however, as nice as it is, is a little short at the back. Not enough to bother sending it back, but maybe should have got a large. But it is a badass jacket in grey and I'm keeping it

Good points: Great fit, right on the money for UK sizing. The cuffs have elasticated, soft material so the sleeves will fit and look good no matter how short your arms are. The design looks really good. They aren't fake pockets on the breast, with a button and zip pocket. It's warm and comfortable.Bad points: The stitching is ropy. I mean, I had to trim it off in quite a few places it's that bad. It does make me wonder how long it will last. The main zip is a bit sticky. There's a flap inside the neck that fixes down with velcro - absolutely no reason for this and has the potential to be very annoying but has stayed in position so far.Overall: If it was £20, this would be amazing. It's £40 and while it looks great, I have concerns over durability. Still 4/5 at this point.

Great buy for the money. I am a woman size 10/12..and wanted a jacket for planned overseas trip. Unable to find anything entirely suitable in female departments l decided to give this ago.I ordered a small and it is plenty big enough without swamping me. Good number of pockets and good quality

my only dislike is that as I'm a big guy I went for a slightly bigger fit actually the biggest fit possible and the jacket is a little tight just a little, so I will give the benefit of doubt and blame too much xmas pudding but to reassure you I like this product
