Worth the price
This item has lived up to my expectations. It's extremely durable and strong, and I haven't had any issues with pegs coming off. I have been able to use multiple different sizes of yarn, chunky included, and they all work really well. The size of the item is quite large so it will take you some time to find a position that's comfortable, but it's very easy to move around and hold. I was hesitant on purchasing due to the price, but I went ahead and did it and I'm glad I did. The quality really shows in the price. The figure 8 stitch is very easy to do on this board.

Highly recommend!
This is an amazing tool! You can make very wide blankets, or small whichever you choose. Very versatile and fast! The quality is also top notch!

awesome
this thing is amazing. If you werent taught to crochet by hand or just couldnt quite ever figure it out, this is the way to go. It takes a little getting used to as to how to do it but once you get the hang of it, its great. spend the little extra money to get this one vs the cheap ones becuase the plastic on the cheap ones is just that, cheap. And you are going to need the sturdiness of this one.

Holding off a little until I finish my first afghan
I have mixed feeling there are a lot of plus and a few negatives, you will have to watch a few videos and find what works best for you. I am a knitter so for me it is faster to knit but this does look better on the edges where using needles may leave them loose. It does keep the stitches close together and you won’t have the separation between stitches that you may have with needles. I have tried everything I know to make the stitches looser but so far am having issues pulling the yarn over each hook. As you go around there is a little issue with turning but the loom is small enough to turn around as you go. It might be easier to use on a table and not your lap. This is the first time I have used it and it does seem to be made of good quality and I believe it will hold up for years of use. For me it would be faster to just knit but I am holding my full review for when I get through with the afghan. It will take me a while to finish this since I have trouble with my hands I have to take more breaks than if I just knitted or crochet. The only negative that I have seen so far is that it will take longer to make something and it isn’t easy to slip the yarn over the hooks as the videos I have seen make it. For right now I am just trying to get through knitting but do plan on trying cable stitches etc later on. I also feel it would be easier and nicer to knit a sweater, jacket and things giving you a more defined look with better ends than knitting does. I have made sweaters before and always have the ends with big holes in the last stitch. I am very interested to see how easy it will be to make a sweater and the outcome of the look of it. Scarves would be easy and look very nice done from this loom so I don’t see paying for another loom when you can do so much on this one.I will update as I go along and make different things.

Perfect!
This loom is perfect. It is durable, comfortable to use for it's size, and the plastic is thick and well designed. I am currently using size 6 bulky yarn for a blanket, and there is no bending of pegs. If you do decide to use a thicker yarn, just be sure you knit more loosely for tension reasons. If using bernat yarn, even when knit loosely on this loom it will still come out with no gaps. Very happy with my purchase, the most functional blanket loom I have purchased.

Love!!
Love this loom. I’ve been working on a blanket on it for 2 years now. Very light and easy to work with. The hook it comes with is one of my favorite ones.

Hopeful, but a bit disappointed
This is my first time using an S loom, if you’ve never used it like me, there will be a learning curve. However the peg design makes it very easy to drop stitches which is very frustrating. I’m not sure if this is a design flaw or a beginner problem, hence my 3 stars. I would say that for the price, it’s worth it with the extra pegs and ergonomic hook, just wish the pegs weren’t so frustrating
