Live the quality. The reviews here did not help me much but I do like the critical reviews as it helps to figure out things before purchase. I was very happy when I received it. I liked it so much I bought the cross shoulder bag, AND the side belt and leg bag. I now have the slightly smaller backpack in my shopping cart because all these products are really great quality. Will take some photos soon of all of them. Thanks to this company for obvious care for the quality of your products.

The bag itself is very resistent and the looks are great. I received a lot of compliments about it and even one army soldier I ran into, inquired about it as he liked it very much.In general I think is a solid purchase although there are two things that I think can be improved. The separation between the top and bottom compartment is a piece of the same material, that closes with a round zipper. If you place something heavy on the upper portion, the bag will compress itself as the heavy thing drags the material around it to the bottom. The other thing is that the material is not perfectly attached and as a result, smaller items placed on the upper portion of the bag will find its way to the bottom trough these gaps.Now, the icing on the cake would be to include a rain cover. I bought one separately but a perfect fit would be better.

There is a review on here that you should read which basically says "its a great backpack but definitely not 50L". I concur. I have several packs that are designed for distance hiking and outdoors ranging from small (20L to large 60L) and this particular bag would fall closer to the 40 L based on what I can tell. I have another bag from the same manufacturer that claims to be 35 L and they seem to have, more or less, the same capacity as I have used them interchangeably.Having said that, this is an extremely well made, durable bag. I travel extensively, meaning 5 - 6 flights a month, in and out of airports. This is my "personal item" because I can toss it in the car, lug in around airports, shove it under the seat, and drag it in and out of hotels without noticeable wear and tear or damage to the contents. I've been rained on, dropped it, dragged it accidentally behind me and the bag still looks brand new. In fact, I am fairly sure this bag will outlive me by quite a number of years.The bag is sized perfectly for a "personal item" meaning that, even full, I can still stuff this under the airline seat, and I was able to get onto the airplane with this as my personal item, and toting a larger standard carry-on.The zippers are smooth, the construction is durable, and the pockets intelligently laid out and useful. The backpack is comfortable, and the back panel breathable keeping material that wicks away moisture and heat closer to your skin. The straps are wide and adjustable and the back is padded with a decently shaped lumbar support. I've carried this easily and comfortably running from one end to the other of LAX without straining my back, so the strap system is good at balancing out the weight when used with the waist/lumbar cinch.A couple things to note: there is no way this is 50L, this is not sized for a woman's frame and would likely be very uncomfortable for distance hiking, and the bottom compartment gives the backpack a weird "bottom heavy" feel if you are planning on using this for actual hiking. I found the straps way more difficult to adjust than other hiking packs I have used. I needed to put the bag down, and adjust using both hands, which means you can't necessarily change the way the pack hangs during a hike without stopping to adjust. The straps are VERY VERY long, which means they have a lot of room to adjust to larger frames, but they end up so long when adjusted for my 5'6" 145 frame that they hang well down next to the pack and get caught in things because there is no effective "wrap around" mechanism to tie up the hanging strap like I have see in other packs. The front clip on the waist is extremely hard to open, and I don't have particularly weak grip strength. Once latched, I have to use TWO HANDS to compress the latch enough to get the thing off, which is definitely annoying.quality and durability? Yeah! you could drop kick this thing off the side of a mountain without noticeable damage. Fit and size? Smaller than 50L (closer to 35 is my guess) and not really sized for women. If you are a smaller framed male, or a female, you probably want to look elsewhere if you want to do some hiking. This does not have a system to allow you to adjust for various size frame, adjust the position of the shoulder to lumbar length, and the size of the buckle on the waist strap is so large that it actually hits the bottom of my rib cage when closed. Yeah, its freakin cool to look at, but your average female is going to find this uncomfortable for extensive hiking.

This is a great bag. There is so many compartments to separate all your gear. I’m super stoked to try it out. I have loaded it up with a lot of gear just to try it out and so far it’s been great. It’s super comfortable and the way it’s made it takes all the weight and evens it out across your back. There is a big difference in cheap vs expensive bags. Like they say you get what you pay for and I will say this bag is worth every dollar. What’s even better is it’s all from veterans. Who better than a veteran when it comes to making a back pack right. I would highly recommend this back pack to anyone from hunters, packers, hikers, or just a camper. Regardless this is a top notch bag that is designed the right way.
