Perfect!
The parts were just what I needed AND the cord was longer than the previous one so I was able to eliminate the temporary extension cord that I had to plug and plug constantly with each use. Easy installation!

Nice Kit but Socket is a little weak
Up front, this is a very nice kit, but I was disappointed in the quality of the lamp socket itself given the price of the kit. It seems pretty thin and a bit on the flimsy side. That said it went together perfectly, I like the fact that it had an extra long cord, and the instructions were pretty straightforward, and in a large font for my old eyes. Even with my 10 thumbs, I was able to install this kit in less than an hour and saved the $70 plus long drive it would’ve taken to get a nearby lamp shop to do the same thing. Just make sure to touch a circuit tester to all of the metal parts on the socket and lampshade metal after you install it – just to be safe.

Everything you need
This package comes with everything you need and more. It was nice and easy to use. And great that I wasn't running to the hardware store for extra parts that were not included. This was the first time I have rewired a light so I was glad to have everything all in one package. If you are experienced at rewiring lights you might be able to find a better deal with a package that only includes the parts you need. But for me it was perfect.

Wish it allowed for a higher voltage or tri-light. 60 is a bit limiting.

Okay product
Comes with what seems to be all the parts you need, not easy to assemble. The instructions are terrible, it doesn’t tell you which wire is hot vs neutral. The parts are fairly flimsy and seem low quality. Can probably get a better version with better steps elsewhere. I guess good for the price.
