Awesome design and concept, I'm using it, but...
I loved the idea, the packaging, the item design, the button and the electric shock it emits. Reminds me of Nicola Tesla.Pros:It does the job. I can lit the stove directly or lit a match stick and then lit the stove with it.The size is perfect, it fits my hand. Looks elegant and smooth. The electric shock instantly lits a match stick or the stove's burner.Cons.The lid doesn't open completely, so it's hard to take the lighter to the stove's burner and the lid can get burned. It emits a high pitch sound, that annoys my sister (she suffers Misophonia), and my dog.So I will have to replace this with something better, or use it when there's no one at home... (I need to check if this sound can give me long-term side effects though).Final words:I'm yet to to test the USB charging capability to judge it.****UPDATE****[August 6 2017]:My sister stopped complaining, so my dad and I keep using it. I guess she just got used to it? I haven't seen my dog reacting to the high pitch sound anymore. So i will add 1 start. I give it 3 starts because I thought I wouldn't be able to use this item. But it was a success. I haven't charged it yet, I will soon. The lid issue is still present, but I can cope with it. What I do is to lit a match and then lit the stove with the match, or use the Ralix directly on the stove, and take it away quickly so it doesn't get burned. The button is sooo smooth. The box is solid, protective and elegant.****UPDATE****[July 1 2019]:3 years using it. The micro-USB charging port now have issues to charge. Replaced cables and still.I have to play with the cable until it starts charging.A suggestion to the maker of this product, make a new model with USB Type-C port.****UPDATE****[Aug 16 2019]:Dead. Not charging anymore. I'm waiting to find some damaged device with micro USB port to take the port and weld it on the lighter. Next time I'll buy from another seller who sells a USB Type C lighters or until this company starts selling a USB Type-C alternative. Micro USB port is very weak.

Neat Plasma lighter,But wont charge. Need replacement
I am leaving a 1 simple because the lighter has not charged or worked correctly since I got it. It did spark a few times then died and tried to charge But will not.Product arrived Yesterday. I noticed when I plugged it in the Blue LED light never came on to show its charging. I figured it was already charged. Well ,No After dying later that night I PLUGGED it in again to charge and it will not work or charge.. I have contacted the seller about a replacement or 1 of = value .update: THE SELLER was VERY NICE after contacting them and sent me a replacement ASAP! The replacement works but sometimes I have to mess with the USB charge Plug to make the Charge stay on. Overall when its charged though it works great for what its suppose to.I also tested my 1st orders little white Charger On my new replacement, it did not work, So the first 1 sent Was just a all around LEMON. I tried the small USB mini charger on a few other devices and it would not do anything .Replacement however as I said Is fine, only complaint is The charge port at times does not want to keep charging without having to mess with it.Seller responded less than 24hrs after I wrote them, saying a replacement was being sent out that day. They stayed true to their word.So it must just be a few that have bad connections or something, Nothing to do with seller at all..I would work with seller again for a double arch next time..

Feels good in the hand.
Packaging is pretty nice. The lighter feels a little heavy, I would like to attribute that to a quality build. The hinges used for the top cover seem taint (for now) and the button used to initiate the device gives a satisfying click. Mine came fully charged, which surprised me a little bit. I really like this compared to others I've used that had physical point you had to touch (they are kinda like tiny oven eyes), on this you don't have to touch item you want aflame to a physical location. I think that will increase the lifespan of the unit. It's not something I'd recommend to light a candle or a charcoal grill(well you could if you set a piece of paper on fire or something), I think this is going to probably appeal more to cigarette smokers, and anyone wanting to have that cool item at the water cooler or whatnot. I'll update this review later if my mind changes about the quality of the lighter.

All-in-all a good lighter with some minor detractors.
I've never used an arc lighter before - I'm pleasantly surprised! It seems to take a charge quickly and I've yet to exhaust the first charge. So far, I've only used it to heat seal some small nylon rope and light candles.Since (I'm guessing) that most of this unit is battery, it has a solid heft, but probably not much more than a liquid fuel. The lid only opens half-way which may make lighting some things difficult (like tea candles). When I close the lid and hit the ignite button, I can hear the arc inside the lighter which means that it is possible that the battery will be run down if there is something in your pack or pocket that is pressing on the button.All-in-all a good lighter with some minor detractors.

Pretty Cool, Indeed
This little thing is a beast. Don't get me wrong; dollar store lighters are great, but as with all liquid-consuming lighters, they come to an end. And who wants to have to refill lighters? The overall build of the lighter is superb. It could easily be sold for two times the listing price. It is weighty enough to give you peace of mind and all aspects of it appear to be of high quality. It definitely doesn't feel cheap. As far as the hinge and cover goes, I wish it drew back to a full 180 degrees to allow for lighting candles more easily. I also wish that the electrodes were further apart because I can hardly fit a stick of incense between them and when lighting a cigarette, I have to turn the cigarette at an angle and kind of work my way around. Eh, maybe it'll get easier in days to come. Regardless of these drawbacks, it's a good product and worth the money!
