'Whisper to me your lies' was a gripping crime thriller that kept me on the edge of my chair from start to finish. This novel made me believe everything written in the pov of Ekantika as she navigates really good and simple statements from the beginning.. You are really masterful, weaving a complex plot with unexpected twists, creating to believe or not a situation..,all atmospheric setting that drew me in. The characters are well-developed, Ekantika whose personal struggles add depth to the relentless pursuit of the killer, I wish she investigated her father better..then this maze of mysteries wouldn't happen..which I didn't want. :D I reaally really enjoyed it! With it's tight pacing and suspenseful narrative, 'Whisper to me your lies' is a must-read for thriller loving readers! Thank you for this one! 🫠✌️

Fantastic superb thrilling one

What a crime thriller this was! Novoneel Chakraborty has done an excellent job of writing this novel. The storyline is extraordinary and unlike any other crime novels. The execution of events was great too. The climax had a hell lot of twists which totally took me by surprise. Whisper To Me Your Lies is a mixture of the killings of the cello-tape killer, a daughter’s revenge against her father’s death, a mother’s protectiveness over her daughter, love, friendships and relationships; it has it all. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. On the downside, I was unable to understand how the title connects to the story. Half a star removed for the mundane writing style and another half removed for the question left unanswered (the motive of the cello-tape killer behind his crimes).

Novoneel is gifted - he has this unique ability to get your attention from the very first page and transport you to a different world - one that you'll love,no matter what! The initial pages will surely bring a smile to your face- the dialogues, the back & forth- way too good. The change of moods in the novel at any given instant, makes it a pageturner. Romance part is not only cute but funny as well. Novo has this incredible ability to pop up unexpected anytime,which makes the novel unputdownable! Novoneel is probably India's most intelligent author - can write unimaginable stuff and that too super convincingly. One can't help but marvel at different shades of characters in Novo Novels. The emotions, Erotica, sermons,twists,dark shades,romance etc - everything- has been so well written and narrated. I can't tell how good different aspects of this novel are,as it would ruin it for others but what a ride it was!Perfect Story with perfect characters and perfect subplots and perfect narration - a Perfect novel!

Whisper to me your lies is the third novoneel's book I have finished reading within two weeks. The plot is uniquely interesting with a perfect blend of various elements such as romance thriller and suspense. The structure of written story is pure simple and readability. And the dark twist really surprised me a lot. Also this novel is very dark and deep personal regarding reflection of real life story and also explores dark psychology of human begin. I really enjoyed and loved this book a lot. I didn't really regret buying this masterpiece book.

Writing an engaging thriller is a big deal and trust me Novoneel Chakraborty pulls it off so well every single time. All his works has been super engaging and an absolute page turner. Coming to this book, different from all his other works yet, spectacular. Reading primely about 6 murders because of one hidden truth and how the truth is revealed would be a surreal experience. The book was focused on one aim and this made the book all the more interesting with not diviating from the scope of the book anywhere. And rightly when least expected, the twist turns it all upside down, it's actually a "this man yet again did what he is best at" moment for me, placing twists at the right places. I'm not revealing any more details of the book for obvious reasons. The book gives what is promised and much more. It's a double thumbs up from my side.

I like Novoneel's style of writing always. I have read probably 5 or 6 of his novels and there is signature element in every single book of his, which connects the reader to him easily. He has a knack for writing thriller entwined with romance in a sensual manner. This one is about serial killings and if you want something to read in this genre then go for it. Language wise it is very neat and easy, begining felt quite slow and boring but it gets interesting in the middle, how story unfolds, but little bit missing on heavy emotions, feels more like commercial, things that you already seen in series or movies. I liked how the story takes turn and make you lost in the middle that makes you think what's going on? But if anybody could do justice with such story it is him, so go for it if you like Novoneel Chakraborty's writing. One time read.
