I have no idea why the 370z doesn't come with these preinstalled from the factory. This mod was amazing after installation. The directions and customization of the commands to control your convertible top and windows either via the remote or the console switch were pretty impressive. It even allows the top to open or close on the move up to about 25 mph.Installation took me about 2 hours. Probably could have taken less but I looked back at a few things in the manual to make sure i was doing things right. Also, everything is easily accessible when installing this device as the instructions are well laid out and have full color photos with step by step instructions. *Be sure to check for firmware updates and program the device with your pc before the install. After that you can keep a usb connected and easily program from a laptop to the usb connection if you follow the additional suggestion in the manual. Also the addition of the module isn't anything that can't be undone. Removal is just as easy if you end up selling your car and need to get it back to stock.This is the most worthwhile investment you can make to enjoy your 370z Roadster to the fullest!

This is a 30 minute install that will dramatically increase your use and enjoyment of your convertible. My 370z convertible top takes about 25-30 seconds to open or close. That may not seem like much, but the SmartTop essentially takes your wait to 0. For example, I now use my remote as I approach the car to drop the top as I walk across the parking lot. Also, when I get to my next stop, I get out and let my remote close the top, windows, and lock the car as I walk to the next store. Also, it does not require that you press the close or open button continuously for 30 seconds. You simply quick tap it and it goes up or down - as you drive. It's my favorite add to my 370z roadster.
