Deer just pass it by, just use peanut butter and apples
Didn't work for me, deer sniffed it and moved on, not interested in it. The absolute best thing that will bring the deer to you in under 30 minutes if nearby is by a huge jar of cheep peanut, and some apples. Dice up the apples, microwave some peanut butter and drizzle it on all over the apples and put in the freezer for a few hours. Deer go crazy for it, and the smell of peanut butter, even when frozen will draw them in. I will give it a few more attempts, but nothing happened with this stuff and the cheap peanut butter (they are not choosy) and a bag of apples from the store is much less expensive.

Amazing
I have tried many different types of deer attractants all kinds of flavors, This Sugarbeet Crush is amazing. Other stuff we had tried the deer would lick/eat some but Sugarbeet they clean it up fast. Been feeding deer over 25 years on our ranch corn and rice bran, just pour this on the ground watch the deer clean it up. We gave it a try last year and glad we did

Amazing!.......In Certain Areas
I've used Sugar Beet Crush for several years in several different areas I hunt. I've found that it works Amazingly wellin the Central Alabama areas where I deer hunt. However, I've found that it does not attract deer as well in my homestate of North Carolina. Other hunters I know have seen similar results. I have limited experience using the other Crush flavored products, but as for the Sugar Beet flavor, it works phenomenally well on my properties in South Central Alabama. From past experiences, discussions with farmers, and other hunters, the attractiveness of this product must be related to the soil and or diet/nutrition requirements of the deer herd in a given area. Trail cam photos dramatically improved (i.e....700+ photos in 24 hrs), more daylight photos of bucks, same bucks returningto product multiple times in 24 hr period. Seems that once a buck finds the product and returns over and over, theykeep smaller bucks and does from eating it by their repeated return. This is my 43rd consecutive year of hunting deer and have used most gimmicks and attractants on the market. I can honestly say that I've never seen anything attract a deer better than this product. It doesn't last long, because it gets eaten so fast. The initial pile will disappear in a day or two, but deer will return, smelling, pawing, and eating the dirt where the Sugar Beet Crush was.Just recently (January 2021) I placed the Crush beside an open trough corn feeder with 600 lbs. of corn, repeatedlythe Crush was visited first and more often than the corn. SUMMARY: Mixed results in NC / Amazing results in AL

Went from 30 to 40 pics a week to over 800 when I poured half a bag.
Had approximately 60 pics in a 2 week period without any attractant. After putting half a bag of this down I had over 800 pics in one week. The deer stayed until every granule was licked off the ground. Waited 2 weeks and poured the rest and had over 600 pics.

Deer did not return.
I really wanted to love this. I thought the sweet smell would bring deer in. I used this over 4 bait sites. One 5 pound bag purchased locally, and 2 15 pound bags from amazon. The site that I had a camera on shows birds and raccoons eating the sugar beat crush. The deer showed up did not eat much and did not come back. Another camera over a corn only site a half mile away had dozens of deer showing up even after the corn was gone. I’m going to be sticking with corn. Maybe experiment with a few other products.

Been using it for several years
I started using this product and have used it for several years. I have watched deer lick it while in the stand, I have pictures of deer with red noses where they have licked it. My method now to ensure deer get the minerals they need from my mineral rocks is to pour some stump licker over my mineral rocks then coat the rock with the sugar beet powder. It is always licked clean the next day and as well the deer are getting minerals from the block. To me it's killing several birds with one stone. I buy it in the 15 pound bags and when just sprinkled it lasts a good while.

Deer Repellent - not attractant : (
I had a fantastic hunting spot I wanted to make even better. After buying this attractant and placing around my deer feeder I went from 15-30 pictures a day on my deer cam to zero per day! This stuff is offensive to deer! After cleaning up every last drop the deer started to return. If you put “Deer Repellent” on the bag I’ll give it 5 stars!

Blacktail Deer snub their noses
After reviewing more than a hundred blacktail trail cam videos at 8 different locations this product is not for them. Only one small spike and one doe ate it out of 40-50 blacktail deer. Blue jays and camp robbers loved it along with a few squirrels and even bears let it mold. With several other choices of deer enticement products deer by passed the sugar beet crush every time.
