This fabric is absolutely lovely. Dark, deep, heavyweight black velvet. Perfect, and heavy-duty enough for the chairs I upholstered with it. Great price, too!

Perfect for what I'm using it for -- background in a picture fame. Has such a nice back that makes it so easy to work with. The velvet itself is beautiful.

I ordered this for photography. The texture is nice-- not too long or ripply, which could show up in the photo. It's a large enough size to carry & use as a backdrop for products or macro work.

I was not disappointed with the fabric ...great value. It is not a soft material butit works nicely when upholstering a cushion... easy to handle. The black from adistance look very rich...I might order more from this company.Great Price!!!!!

Surprised at the quality of this product. Bought to make a backdrop for taking photos, love the evenness of the color and ease of draping.

I have worked in apparel design and use to buy flocked fabric as a replacement for real velveteen on girls dresses. This is not the same stuff. It is really stiff and better suited to drawer or box lining. It has a stiff taffeta backing.If you want something like this to line a jewellery box then this would be ideal. It can be cut and doesn't ravel.

Second time I’ve bought this flocked velvet. White and black. It’s perfect for my needs. I glue it to wood and glue on top of it- jewelry Xmas trees in frames

Absorbs light very well, nice size — very large.
