Holes in your wool socks? This will fix it
Perfect for darning some well-loved wool socks. Thin enough to fit in a large needle, no need for a fat yarn or darning needle. For the person who rated it badly because it contains alpaca, um... did you read the name of the company that makes it? Because alpaca is part of the name!

Worthy reinforcement for sock heels
This reinforcement yarn in great for heels of wool socks. I've never had a hole in heels when I've reinforced them with this yarn.

Very good outcome
Worked well for darning a toe in toe socks. Put a marble in the toe & then easily darn the toe. Very soft, pliable, & comfortable to wear.

This was perfect. I had learned that knitting something like this into socks when you make them makes tough socks!

Great reinforcement for sock heels
A little goes a long way, and this is a great value for the amount. Glad I can find this even though it's not widely available in the US

Lovely wool and good value
Really pleased with this wool, which is lovely and soft and a bit thicker than the usual darning wool in packs. There is also a generous amount.

Good quality
This is an excellent product. I sed it to darn a very expensive denim-coloured Aran jumper thus saving over £100 .

2ply wool
The darning wool was able to fit my requirements. Although I would have preferred 3 ply. Quality was very good however.
