Works great for travelers or to replace lost remotes. Terrific value
It fit the test of "it just works" very well. The app is not the most elegant, but super functional, and the system for zeroing in on the correct IR codes for a brand and type is really elegant. It keeps asking you to confirm if the last code it sent worked or not and narrows down the options 20-questions style. The app even flips the display so you can point the dongle to the device being controlled from the USB-C connector on the bottom of the phone. If you travel lots and want to plug in your own device to hotel TVs, this works great. I haven't used yet to replace a lost remote, but from everything I can see it would work great for that also.

This is a scam, I don't recommend it
It doesn't work, it's garbage. I don't recommend wasting your money here.

No seek mode... Overly generic front end in the android app... Not worth the money or effort.
This doesn't have a seek mode, are you kidding me? You have to KNOW the make/model of the device you want to control BEFORE HAND? Hey, sometimes you're in a public place and want to turn down a loud screen, or change the channel to something more 'kid friendly' and you can't get to the back of the device where they put the information needed by the android app. These days, more than 50% of your TVs don't even have the brand name on the bezel anymore (makes it easier to OEM 'em to multiple vendors), so it's stupid to NOT have a seek mode. A decade ago I had a key fob remote control that I could put in seek mode and simply press a button until I got a response - didn't even require a smart phone to do that, and these people somehow are too stupid to include that basic feature in theirs?

It Works Great!
It works well on all 3 TVs I've set it up on so far! On the next model, I suggest making it so it can go on a keyring to easily keep with you at all times. Thanks!

"Only transmits IR — does not learn codes
Works as a simple IR transmitter with ZaZa Remote, but it cannot capture or learn codes from your remote. Good for using existing code libraries, not for custom learning.

Works great! But easily lost...
Works great. Err, worked great. I carried it around everywhere but because the keychain connects to the CAP and not the actual blaster, I found myself carrying around an empty cap and then scrambling to find the thing on more than one occasion. I've actually had this issue twice already. Unfortunately there aren't really any comparable models that DON'T have this issue so I'll probably order a third and do the same thing all over again

Brings IR Remote Control feature back to Android Smart Phone
After downloading the "ZaZa Remote" App, I can control HDTV and Comcast cable box. The App brings an extensive list of IR remote controlled devices to today's Android smartphone.
