Will this card work in a hp omen 45l gaming computer?

Is this card compatible with a Mac

I wouldn't know because i installed on a PC. I wanted this to work with a Drobo, but it does not. Lots of problems with anything plugged into the card and restarting your computer. I recommend if you want USB 3 ports, you buy another computer with it installed from the factory.
