PrymGunmetal, 2.5-5mm Crochet Hook Set, 2,5-5 mm, 5 Count

I already knew I loved the shape of the Prym metal hooks, but I didn't care for the soft grip hooks. They got sticky. Since I prefer the light weight of a simple hook, I decided to try them. The finish needed a bit of polishing as it was slightly squeaky. Now, they're a joy to use. I would love to fill in some other half sizes.

Small hooks for small hands. No frills and great value hook set.

I crochet fairly tightly, so I have a habit of splitting even non-splitty yarn with other hooks, but these are nice and round so I don't have that issue. The end is wider than my other hooks, too, so they've help me loosen up my tension just a little. They also have a groove that really helps to keep the yarn from slipping off. I also really like the gunmetal finish. I wouldn't recommend these for amigurumi, since the wide, round end can make it harder to get into the tighter stitches, but for everything else, these are my go-to!

Nice hooks but the 5mm was missing and the internal packaging was damaged so only a set of 4 hooks. Prym don't seem interested in helping, nor do amazon
