Have one downspout that dumps water onto my driveway. That water inevitably finds it's way into the garage. That's all stopped now. Used a garden spike thru the bottom of the exit end to secure it where I wanted the water to go.

This was just too thin especially for Florida hot weather. This will NEVER survive the hot sun from Florida for long. In fact, when I installed it, as I expanded it, it looks distressed. It's just way too thin. I ordered two of these and will see how long one lasts but am returning the other because it's just not sturdy or thick enough to last a season. BEWARE if you even use a weed trimmer and it touches this, it will crack. Guaranteed. Honestly, the color was nice and it expands easily so those are the pluses... I would have been more than happy to pay a little extra for the same unit, only thicker. Look at the pictures closely, it comes very well packaged with plastic bubble wrap. I used a small razor using very light pressure to open up the bubble wrap... Are you looking? The slit you see in the middle of the product is the slit the razor made, right through the entire thing. And again, I used light pressure. Best use scissors if you decide to get this. Be careful to just cut the plastic bubble wrap off as you can easily cut through this. I hope this helps you decide. these are fairly flexible and will stretch to an extended length and I needed all of that as I was trying to keep the gutter rain water out of my flower beds. if you have a lot of heavy rains, then you should consider a more permanent solution to move the rain water away from you house.

I ordered these tan-colored flex-a-spouts for my Wisconsin home where I have nine (9) downspouts. Had to request two separate orders since the seller only sells five at a time (didn't realize there was a run on downspouts!?!?). Anyway, these are perfect for attaching to the end of the metal downspouts and then stretching them out for however long or short a distance as needed. Used these before at a different home and they lasted almost forever until I ran over one with the lawnmower. Very well made and appreciate that the tan-colored flex-a-spout matches my outside metal downspouts exactly. Highly recommend!

I ordered three of these flex spouts. They arrived on time and in perfect condition. I live in Florida so when the box arrived, the box was quite warm. That may have helped with how easy it was to stretch out the plastic spouts. They easily fit over my standard metal drain spouts. We have heavy summer rains here and so far the flexible spouts have stayed in place. Hopefully they will be durable. It is too soon to tell.

The fittings on the two ends of the flex spout are different from one another, so one is almost certain to fit most downspouts. I had no trouble fitting them onto my downspouts.However, of the three I purchased roughly a year ago, only one is still in good shape. The problem is the plastic is fairly fragile; so if they get moved around much they tend not to last long.I would buy more of them this year if the price has doubled in two years.

Take effort to install. Not long lasting. The lawn cutting service runs over these and I need to replace them every yearhard to screw into existing down spouts.
