Great little forge for small to medium projects. Only thing to keep in mind is not to use it ass is; rigidizer and satanite layer is a must to have. You dont want to use the raw fire wool as those fibers are hazardous to your health and it will just decay faster. Once rigidized and cemented though, it's a workhorse!

I loved it for avoidance hour. After that it was just a total failure.The paint was gone in 2 hours and the housing was literally melted by my 3rd 20pound tank.Now it’s useless and i’m only on tank 5.The regulator just refuses to seal in any sense of the word.I highly recommend getting something else.Also the seller says that the destruction caused from 3 15 pound bottles of propane are normal and “inevitable” and that it’s not their problem it’s mine. I would highly recommend avoiding the seller more than the manufacturer as i also reached out to vevor about this and they are actually working with me on it.AVOID THIS SELLER AT ALL COSTSslow with everything.When it comes to respond time to problems they are the worst and obviously unhelpful.

My teenager received this for Christmas. One gas valve arrived broken and the other broke in the exact same spot when assembling. It was an easy fix for less than $5 but disappointing since it was a Christmas gift. It has done exactly what we had hoped as far as heating steel and letting him learn the basics.

Set up was an absolute nightmare. Was sent one without a long hose so they sent me another with it. Nothing sealed and when I finally did get it to seal I ran it for 20 min just for the top case to almost melt away completely. Should just build your own for the price and time wasted.

It isn’t exactly ready to use out of the box. The fiber blanket is just a bear untreated fiber blanket. to use this thing safely you will want to use a Stefiner. I also had a problem with one of the burners actually heating up into forming the case because the wool was separating from the case and the flame from the burner was getting in between it. This was occurring because the tube that was meant to connect the two burners together was too long. I end up cutting it a few inches shorter to make sure the burners sit more perpendicular to the case. Also had a gas leak on one of the fittings I needed to use yellow Teflon tape to seal it. Keep that in mind if you buy this thing. remember to use the bubble technique to test all the fittings on both burners and onto your propane tank. Just splash a little soapy water onto the fitting. If you see bubbles, it’s leaking. Also, the method adjust The richness of the burn is a bit course. And by course I mean by Mean binary. It’s practically either open or is closed. watch out for a little flashback when you turn off the gas as the flame burns up the leftover fuel all the way up the burner to the nozzle. It’s a bit jarring at first but mostly harmless.

I'm very new to knife making so I'm still in the learning process but I can say its fun and awesome to use. I know I still have a long way to go but I'm glad I got this setup to help me start.
