These are not great quality, they don't function correctly as far as staying closed. They are cheap cost but you get what you pay for. True to size.

Have never used them in an OR setting, but in an office, great for grabbing on to a large splinter to pull it out. Insane that a medical catalogue wanted over $50 for this. Easy to use, just like the ones you’d use in the hospital. Standard design, teeth mesh well, good adjustable tension on grip. Good thing to have in a primary care office wound care kit.

Got the job done but have lots of scrapes and made poorly.

I used these for a unique purpose - to rip out doll hair for rerooting. They're a decent size for it, and the locking mechanism makes it easy to keep a tight grip on the glue and hair.Overall, great purchase!

These are handy for many things I keep a pair in my bathroom, in my toolbox and my oldest ones are in my tackel box.
