the real deal
read last 2 chapters of review for this items integration . the rest is for something elsethis company builds some of the best lights surpassing even Philips hue stuff.and they usually price it around £10 / piece. wish they did some wifi matters integration in to their bulbs. have a bunch of their bulbs and never regretted buying their stuff.there is science behind their bulbs. well they might as well not know it . let me explainthere is hardly any sunshine here in uk. ever heard of scanadanivian countries having the highest rate of suicide. Greenland/iceland etc. well had it occurred to you that it might be linked to the gloomy atmosphere year round .well here comes the good news. the 5000k and 6000k bulbs are designed to mimic sunlight indoors and they are bright. trust me when I say it will light up your home and light it up good.the bulbs have anti flicker tech which means when you snap pics with these bulbs on you video film wouldn't have flickers in them. it means the frequency that these bulbs work is not irritating for humans and animals I think.when the human brain gets its fair share of sunlight it is less prone to depression. so to cure depression buy the 5000k or 6000k lights. they are literal life savers. you will see mood improving inside your homes once you have these installed. they will bring indirect happiness . I use Philips hue smart plugs connected to lams with these bulbs and use a sensor to detect my presence in the room to automatically turn on and off the lights. you can literally buy any smart plug which also has infrared sensor like tp link tapo smart plugs . best to buy matters certified smart plugs from tapo. the p110m version is good and £10er each. the sensor will light up the lamps and shut them off when it stops detecting presence in the room . this way you end up with automatic lights in your living room.I used 3 of these 30w bulbs in each bedroom . changed to Philips hue . you need around 4500 lumen in a bedroom to cure depression and around double that in a living room . this is for a house that is pure white inside paint. if dark coloured paints then the lumen requirement goes up of 50%. best to buy white furniture and curtains to keep sense of the space being open and large.

Expensive but really good
Over a number of years, I replaced all of the light bulbs in our house with Phillips Hue bulbs...a combination of white/ambiance and colour bulbs. I love them. They last for EVER. I have only had to replace two in 9 years. It is so cool to be able to sit down for a movie and set the lights with a simple voice command. These bulbs are the same size as most GU-50 fixtures and so a straight swap is very easy. The white white is strong and clear with absolute clinical whiteness. The warmer tones soften the light a lot. At the extreme end you can make it look like old style, underpowered light bulbs with a real yellow-ish warmth. They are expensive. They are more expensive than other brands. Are they better? I can't say, but I love them and don't regret spending the money on them. They work great with Alexa, Apple Homekit and the supplied hub integrates flawlessly.

Best to buy as a multi-pack
If you know the Hue system, you'll know what these are capable of. They are compatible with any GU10 socket, the ones with two pins that you push and twist. As they are white ambience, you can adjust the colour temperature warm/cool, but you can't change the colour. They don't go as bright as I would like, but still bright enough for the kitchen (we have six in a fairly small kitchen). Quality is ok, these seem more prone to failure compared to all the other bulbs I have. Performance-wise, I have had three GU10 bulbs fail on me in the past five years and I have nine installed around the house. They're still worth, however. If you can, buy in bulk for best value.

Does the job and some
Quality and performance is what you expect from Hue and these do the job. Had 6 of them installed in our bathroom ceiling, so that we could dim them whilst having a bath and make them bright when we need too. These easily linked to my existing Hue eco system. Only downgraded to a 4 star because of price. Yes they are the best in class, but you certainly pay a premium for them.

Awesome lighting
Absolutely love all of the Hue lamps! Gives so many options in colour and systems, and they are of very good quality.Had them for years and now needed new ones for a new place. Never had one break or issues. Only thing that annoyed me is that they recent once the electricity went out. Not sure if this still happens but that’s only a small issue on a rare occasion.
