Plasticolor 2238 Hitch Cover

The media could not be loaded.  I used this aluminum hitch cover as a break pedal on my 2006 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic.

Worth the price. By no means the quality of a HD hitch plug but I would recommend this plug. Nice accent on my vehicle. Time will tell how long it will last in the Florida weather. Solid metal but does have a plastic look to it.

I don't love it, but I like it enough. It isn't a solid chunk of aluminum, which another reviewer already pointed out, but that wasn't a big deal for me. The face is still brushed aluminum and has a nice look to it. My only gripe is that when it is inserted into the receiver, there is about a 1/2-3/4" gap between the back of the plate and the opening of the hitch. I didn't expect this to be waterproof by any stretch but be aware that crud can still get in there. It is still a nice piece and I would buy it again.

I had to modify it with a file so that it wouldn't hit my bumper and scratch the paint.

It does look and feel like plastic. But it's not. Easy to put together and fits pretty well. I am replacing an older cover the looks a lot like this one. That one was steel. It is so rusted that the face fell off! This one being aluminum, should not rust away.

It was a gift and he loved it. Only problem is it didn't come with the pin to hold it in place so i had to go buy one. Just would have been nice to know before he opened it and tried to put it on his trailor hitch.

Would order again. Easy to install.

Decent quality, looks as shown, shipped fast. Had to improvise with a little gorilla glue in order to connect the stems to the face plate as screws provided weren’t long enough to reach the face plate during assembly.
