Makes loud noises, eyes glow. Motion sensor is TOO sensitive. Mine squawks constantly all day & night with no movement trigger. I put it in a box where there is no movement and it doesn’t stop. I use it as a statue now. The birds have gotten used to it and sit on it now. Great idea but maybe after some upgrades like adjusting the motion sensitivity it’ll be 5 stars.

Seria excelente , si el buho este activo mas tiempo , la energia solar dure mas . Pero sobre todo me ha ayudado a alejar a esas aveces molestosas. Buen producto🙌👍

The media could not be loaded.  This Solar Owl is a great addition to my garden. I put it on a small platform on a 1.5 inch x 4 ft post. It's been working for almost a month. It keeps the birds away. See attached short video.

My chicken coop is made of rough sawn wood. It's been standing there minding its own business for a while now without issue until suddenly a Downy woodpecker decided it wanted to beat the crap out of it. We found several holes from this little turd...patched them and thought we were good. Oh no, not good as he just moved over to the next piece of siding and created several more holes! Another patch, some hardware cloth, and we thought "yeah that will do it." Nope. In all, we have done 4 patch jobs, covered two sides in hardware cloth and put up pinwheels....then we bought this owl. Once the owl was up on top no more feathery terrorist. He worked so well my mother-in-law asked for one for Christmas to scare the bird bombers out of her gazebo so we have bought a second now.

The woodpeckers went right by the owl & continued their house damage.I gave it as a gift, I failed with this solution, I am disappointed.

This thing is cool, and works like it claims, but every stiff breeze set off the automation and the sound became so constant and annoying we finally had to shut it off. Also, I do not believe that the birds were fooled.

I wanted to like this as it does have possibilities. Our front alcove has birds roosting overnight during the winter which leaves bird poop on the ground just outside of our front door. I positioned the owl at all different heights and distances - I even installed a shelf as a perch. It detected us going in and out of the house but not the birds. I checked the range of detection and the distance was excellent (almost 20 feet) but had a 45 degree angle at best where you would need as close to 180 degrees as possible for optimal detection.

Got this to scare away ducks and they just laugh in our faces. This doesn’t scare them at all.
