Irish Setter, Kasota, Men’s, 6", BOA, Waterproof, Non-Metallic Safety Toe, Work Boot

Im a union laborer for Local 79. We walk a lot and on ur feet all day. I received mine today. I purchased a size 9 and made sure to choose the wide option, I have wide feet and regular sized shoes are usually to narrow for my feet. Lordy lordt, these boots feel amazing. Like a nice warm secure hug on ur feet. They are nice and light, not heavy at all compared to all the other Redwings/Irish Setters I’ve owned b4.They have truly outdone themselves with these in particular. They’re very comfortable the BOA system is very innovative. Quick release when u pull the little nob thing, rotate when u want to tighten it. These boots feel so good. Would give them more stars if I could.Wearing them tmr and really give em a spin and see how they hold up. Will give an update soon after. They feel so good that I don’t even think I gotta break em in, they’re that comfy.

Fit great and so comfy i take a 10.5 regular fit in a shoe. I ordered 10.5 wide in the boot and they fit awesome

So I've tried about a dozen different Composite toe work boots from Red wing, Irish setter, Timberland Pro, Wolverine and Ariat and these boots here are the best in my personal opinion. I'm a local truck driver and walk 10,000 plus steps a day. These check off all the boxes. Once you go with the BOA lacing system you'll never go back. My last pair lasted about 2 years which is about 12 months longer than any pair I've had in the past. Pretty comfortable out of the box, only a little stiff.

These boots are true to size, great fit. I ordered the Wide option which gives the extra room up around the toes which I wanted. I am diabetic and on my feet for at least 6hrs a day so taking care of my sensitive feet is important. In addition these are lighter weight than any other work boots I’ve had in the past. The only fault, if I’m being picky is the insole is a bit too thin so I’d recommend inserting your own. Overall these are well made and I would recommend these boots.

Bought as a gift for my landscaper son and he loves them. Says boots are light weight but very sturdy and comfortable. Size 10

I have been through alot of boots, as I work in an oil refinery, theses boots are great, i love the boa system, i will never buy normal laced boots again, no worries about laces comming un tied, seem well built, I usually buy a 1/2:size bigger to accommodate for steel toe, but these boots are true to size, so far they are everthing I wanted.

The redwing version of this was very comfortable out of the box, this one is giving me blisters. The insole is pretty hard the boa not as smooth it doesn't tighten well on the bottom towards the toe. I might bite the bullit and buy the 300 plus dollar red wings again.

Boot fell a part at the toe cap in lightest working conditions, for this to happen even to a 50$ safety boot is unacceptable. This is a very expensive booy with big name behind it and its really disappointing after only few months. DO NOT BUY NOT WORTH IT. wonr buy ever again

DO NOT BUY! The sole began to peel off within 1 year of use and I diligently oiled them to ensure long life and chemical resistance. Choose Red Wing or any other shoe brand.
