Worth it!
These work amazing. The hose is larger and more flexible than the standard ones. You don’t have to open the air vent on the jug for these to work. So just turn the jug upside down and pull the trigger. Works way faster and is much easier to regulate or stop the flow.

No more mess and fast emptying!
I use these to fill my mower. They empty the can quickly and don’t leak a drop until the button is depressed.

Its a bit safer than the normal VP racing hose.
If you're into powersports you probably have a VP power fuel tank, if you have one you know that the hose it comes with is a straight shot. This isn't bad if you're filling something something bigger than the fuel can itself like a boat or a truck, but when you need something smaller like a dirt bike or jet ski this is perfect. With the normal hose you have to fill to your empty or pinch the hose and hope you don't spill [too much], but this trigger changes all that! I use my tanks to mix 2 stroke oil and fuel together and most of my tanks are pretty small, so having an easier way to cut off fuel flow is nice. Its not a must have, but its definitely a nice addition, even if a bit expensive for what it is.

Took some time to dial in but works good now.
I had my doubts about this but it worked better than expected. Ran about three gallons through the trigger this past weekend. No leaks; however, I noticed it will leak out the threads connecting the trigger to the lid if the breather screw on the can is closed shut. Loosened a tiny bit and back to no problems. Also, I did notice it will leak if tigger is pointed down. Turned it so the trigger was on top and back to no problems. Additionally, this will fit the threads on an LC can perfectly. The breather stem that comes with the trigger is prone to falling off. Put some super glue on the end and shove it back in the trigger assembly and back to no problems.

Doesn't work, leaks and stem falls out.
I got this because of the good reviews to only realize this is flawed as flawed can be. The filter tube falls out and goes directly into your gas can. There is no possible way to get it to stay in there. If you use it without it gas goes everywhere obviously. Why design such a flawed piece? If it was meant to be glued in wouldn't you supply the product that it needs to work correctly? $30 for a piece I can't even use. Every other piece to this is great so why wouldn't you make it so this piece doesn't fall out?? Disappointed in VP!

"utility" can control spout
I was recommended this spout by a fellow MX/jetski buddy. The cost is a bit high for was it is, but such is the times and economy. I like the control you have on pour speed with the trigger versus using a ball valve on the hose. If you were to lose grip on the jug and drop the container, the trigger valve will stop flow automatically and you would lose very little fuel (ask me how I know this). That's a big plus; I'm sold.

As expected
Thick plastic, solid handle, well fitting cap. Must be stronger to lift when full (about 44 lbs full)
