I had a stubborn dark spot on my forehead (not really noticeable but quite an eye sore). I tried everything including, exfoliators, creams and peels. I used this product for several weeks and it went from faded to gone. The product does irritate the skin a little but that means its working and exfoliating the surface of the skin.

This is my second time ordering and using this product, I didn’t review the first time I ordered because it was too soon to see any results. Honestly I’ve been using it on my legs, chest, underarms and crease of elbows. I’m premenopausal & I sweat a lot more than I’ve ever have in my life, I don’t even have to be physically active now that my hormones have tipped the scale, I developed interigo which is yeast on skin that develops when you have moisture & friction because of me sweating a lot lately and clothes rubbing up against my skin naturally caused this scaly, dark patch of rash around in all my creases inner elbows, inner thighs, underarms etc… which once healed the results was post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation dark discolored patches on my affected areas, very dark pigmentation from sweating and friction from clothing caused this. I actually saw results as little as two weeks and maybe because the discoloration was fairly new, but also I might add I have very sensitive, very dry skin that also is eczema prone & this gel was surprisingly moist and hydrating which allowed me penetrate it easily into my skin, I really like the moisturizing factor in this gel made the skin on my legs look healthier and reduced a fair amount of discoloration in my underarm region that was highly discolored as well. I would even use this on my face, I’m very impressed with the texture and the results. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the content is so small for the price if the price was lower for the product or the tube was more for the price I’d change my status.

After searching for a long time, I finally found the perfect product to reduce dark spots on my body. I was worried that it would be too harsh, but the LightenUp Plus Clarifying Gel worked wonders. I started using it on my dark knuckles and elbows, and was pleasantly surprised at the results. After a few weeks of use, the dark spots were already beginning to fade. I also started using it on my hands and armpits, and the effects were just as great. The formula contains Alpha Arbutin and Fruity Tamarind Extract, which worked together to help brighten and even out my skin tone. I'm so glad I found this product, and highly recommend it to anyone looking to reduce dark spots or hyperpigmentation.

This product did not do what it promised. My scars and marks are still very visible. It didn't help, not even a little bit. Will not purchase it again.

This products brightens my skin but breaks me out so badly it didn’t make sense to continue to use it. I personally get dark spots and scars from acne so that’s why I purchased this product. It was supposed to lighten my old acne scars but it created new acne and scars so I had to stop using it.

Will cause pink/red bumps for people with sensitive skin

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. IT WILL ABSOLUTELY LIGHTEN THE DARK SPOKES IN YOUR FACE .IT'S WORTH THE MONEY

UPDATE: UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE STOPPED USING THIS PRODUCT. IT HAS CALLED DISCOLORATION AND LIGHT PATCHES ON MY FACE I AM SO UPSET. I AM HOPING MY SKIN COLOR WILL GO BACK TO NORMAL PLEASE BE CAREFUL USING THIS STUFF!!!It has been almost two months since I’ve been using this product once a day and OMG! Brighter, vibrant looking skin. I purchased it to help lighten two spots on my face and wow they have faded plus I have a new glow. I am definitely going to keep this product in stock it has worked beautifully and exceeded my original expectations. Plus it moisturizes your skin and doesn’t leave it dry.
