Conductor Carl 100 Pieces of Bulk Wooden Train Track - Compatible with All Major Brands Including Thomas, Brio, and Chuggington

WONDERFUL! These track pieces are a fraction of the price of the "name brand"/"Thomas"/"Chuggington" trackways and are fully compatible with them. They are beautifully crafted, sanded smooth, and finished with an attractive clear coat. They are also extremely well fitted (none of these plastic "male ends" that some of the more expensive and "name brands" substitute on their trackways) and actually hold together better than their more expensive counterparts (while still allowing enough "wiggle room" to adjust the trackways laterally to accommodate the need). AND this 100 piece set is HUGE, with a really great mix of both long and short straight and curved track pieces (as with most such systems, the straight pieces have grooves on only one side while the curved pieces are grooved on both sides, so that they can make either a left or right curve)! One box almost completely covered a 5 1/2' X 8' rug with an intricate pattern of tracks (and I shudder to think of the result when my grandson also adds the other set - I foolishly bought two for him - to his existing stock of track). I simply cannot say enough good about this track system. Great item, great price, promptly delivered (with Amazon free shipping). My grandson - not known for his long attention span - was absolutely mesmerized by the possibilities which this much track offered him and spent almost a whole day playing with it (and he only got through one box). I'm sure his mom/my daughter will be thrilled when he insists on using ALL of his track (these two sets + the sets and specialty pieces he already had) in HER living room. Well, serves her right. She was a difficult child and payback, as they say, is a... Well, you know. Anyway, if you want to see a little face light up with sheer, unmitigated joy, get him or her one (or more) of these sets. Hours of fun with didactic value as well. Just be careful where you step.

This track is fantastic. It's a great supplement to "Thomas" brand track systems, and if I had known about it before, a great alternative. It's the same quality as the expensive stuff, but for obviously much less. My four-year-old son and I had been wanting to build more complicated track courses for his Thomas trains, and we have many of the fancy bridges, etc, but we kept needing more curved and straight pieces to link it all together. This was exactly what I was looking for: 25 pieces each of two different sizes of curves and two different sizes of straights. We've had it for about a month now and have played with it a lot and it's great. It is durable - at times my son gets excited about what he's doing and tries to build really fast and rough - and it fits with no problem with the other brand track we have. I am so glad I went with this track rather than shelling out 5 times more for the same thing in a different brand.

Home Run!!!Wood tracks were received when promised, as promised.Product was loosely packed in shipping box, with all pieces being exactly as advertised.The pieces fit the train manufacturer's "locomotive", other train cars, and the links/connectors to the train manufacturer's wood tracks perfectly.I can't tell the difference between the original tracks and these additions.-Deliverd when promised-Identical to original manufacturer of train/tracks-Perfect fit with existing tracks-Grandson loved putting these additional tracks together with the original tracks-Can't tell which tracks are original VS these additional tracks.

I bought this for my 2 year old grandson's birthday and he loves it! I also purchased a 12 piece wooden train set to go along with it and the two fit well together. It is very sturdy and strong and snaps together easily and does not disconnect while being played with. There are many combinations that you can make with the 100 pieces and it is well worth the price. I will be adding to the set with some buildings and such but this is an excellent starter set for kids. It has provided many hours of fun for my grandson!

For the price, these tracks are a great deal. Out of the 100 pieces, only one of them didn't fit properly with our original set of branded (and much more expensive) Thomas tracks. These are cheaper in some minor cosmetic ways: the straight tracks pieces only have track on one side, and there is no tie pattern etched into these tracks -- but functionally these tracks are equivalent. Our box of tracks also came with a wooden train -- a nice bonus. But, the wooden train was too big to fit under the Thomas brand bridges, and was lower quality, so that bonus train did not work so well with our existing Thomas tracks.

I bought these to add on to a BigJigs track set This track is nearly identical.The only difference is that the connector tab on these is slightly smaller than BigJigs and so that when they pieces are connected there is a little more play in the connection, however the female end is identical in size and connects snug with BigJigs the same way BigJigs connects to it's own pieces.The quality is great. 100 pieces for this price is an excellent value. I would get another.If I did it again, I'd just get two of the 56-piece sets in order to get some of the odd pieces. But this set of 100 is great if you just need a lot of straights and curves.

I have a 2 and a half year old and a 10 month old that love playing with these wooden train sets. (Sharing's not a problem since there is more than enough to go around!) We didn't have enough track with the wood train set we bought so I ordered these to supplement what we have. They are great! They match the other brand, and my kids and I spend hours building new and different tracks to put the trains on. I accidently stepped on one and the end broke off, so it's not completely unbreakable, but with all the extra track, it didn't matter. This toy is a great learning tool for my son, I plan on buying another set for my sister's kiddos for Christmas!
