My mom & I have a lifelong tradition of carving Halloween pumpkins, and over the years, our equipment has slowly improved from the cheap plastic cutters to sturdier, more "professional" carving tools. However, nomatter how nice the tool, scraping out the pumpkin's guts is always the most tedious part of the process for me.When I saw these gloves, I knew I had to get the "parent & kid" set for me and my mom! I'm glad I did. It was a perfect little surprise gift, and very reasonably priced. The "kids'" size glove is generous enough for a petite 34-year-old woman with teenie-tiny hands to fit quite comfortably, and the "adults'" size was perfect for my mom. Both pairs came complete with a non-scooping-hand glove and a cutter, which I had not realised would come with my purchase and was a pleasant surprise!These could not be simpler or more intuitive to use. They function just as expected: for a plastic scraper, the blade part is pretty sturdy and seems well attached to the glove, and it worked perfectly for what we needed. I still got in there with my standard metal tools once I had thinned down the sides a little for precision-scraping, but this made the first half of my work go a lot faster. This will definitely keep its place in my carving kit going forward. The non-scraper glove actually turned out to be a super handy addition and made things a lot less messy!I would recommend this tool to anyone who hates the chore and the mess of scraping out your jack-o-lanterns.

I would have done a 5-star review because the kit initially worked wonders, but once I tried to hand wash it, the glove ripped so easily from the upper fabric. It’s really a shame because otherwise, this was my first time carving a pumpkin and the scoop really made it painless and easy to gut, I was very impressed. I don’t think I used any more force than I normally would washing the glove, so I’d warn anyone that buys this to be careful, especially if they have kids using the glove that may not know how to manage their grip.

Not as nice as being able to hold an actual scraper, I should have just looked for an elbow length glove. These were also kinda hard to clean up after to save for next year. The scooper is so large that it's only helpful for bigger pumpkins.

I want to cry!!!! My son with sensory issues and has Autism just cleaned and carved his FIRST Pumpkin EVER IN HIS LIFE and he is 11 years old. We are SOOOO EXCITED as a family that we can all share this fun tradition in our family together now!!! BEST PRODUCT EVER!! Highly recommended!! I am still crying!!

This was our first year using these gloves and they are awesome. They truly do work well in cleaning out the pumpkin. They make the process fast, clean, and completely hassle free. No more listening to my husband curse as he tries to clean out the pumpkin with a serving spoon. The gloves cleaned up really easily after the fact as well. We will be using these every year going forward.
