The price may seem high, but the quality is well worth it.The blanket on the right is 11 years old, and obviously, it has been VERY WELL used by my oldest son. I decided to order him a new “blankie” for his birthday, and while he loves it, he refuses to give up the original. So, the new plan is to sew them together; he may get married while holding this thing! lol. In addition, I ordered two more of these blankets for my adopted “babies” who never had the privilege of cuddling with one of these as infants. They love how “fluffy” these blankets are, and absolutely adore carting them around!Thank you for offering such a great product!

This blanket is soft! I had wanted to buy at least one special blanket for our baby who is due soon, and was excited to find this one for such a good deal on Amazon, because they usually retail for $65. My husband and I love it, and now want to get one of the larger "Chenille Throws" for ourselves. The blanket is plush, warm, and comfortable. It seems well made too.Update: After multiple washes, the blanket looks clumpy and rough. The feel itself is still soft to touch, but the chenille certainly doesn't look smooth and luxurious anymore. We still love the warmth, but this has happened on two Little Giraffe blankets so far. I'm wondering if the same effect would happen with the "Luxe" blanket.

My son's favorite special silky blanket got stolen at the store when he was with my mom, I frantically searched for something like it, this was the closest I could find, I did not care how much I had to spend to replace this. I was glad I chose this one, this blanket is so soft and the silky part is perfect, if you have a kid that like to teeth in it, it washes great! And does just get softer every time!

Exactly like the one I bought at a local high end baby boutique, but about $30 less. Same packaging and everything. Super soft, as are all Little Giraffe products, in a sweet light blue. These wash well, but you are apparently not to put them in the dryer.

My son loves this blanket. He calls it "my night night" and unfortunately doesnt go anywhere or goes to sleep without it.It is extremely soft and cuddly. The only problem is kids get so attached to it when they grow up and then its too small.I wish they made it a bigger size for toddlers. If they made it adult size I would probably buy one for myself.

This blanket has become 'the gold standard' in our family. Babies and baby mothers love this soft blanket - it feels so soft and comfortable you just want to feel it and so does baby. A truly outstanding new baby gift!

After one wash, the satin edge was completely ripped in two places. Was so excited for this soft blanket and so disappointed in the quality. Nordstrom brand baby blankets are less expensive and much better quality.

I ordered this blanket because my son received the same blanket a year ago when he was born and it has become his "blankie" So, I thought I should get another blanket incase something happened to the original.Unfortunately, the new blanket is a lot different from the original and my son wants nothing to do with the new blanket. I've tried washing it multiple times; i've even left it in his crib, so it would start to smell like his stuff, but the truth is the new blanket is no where as soft and i could tell the difference as soon as I opened the package. The new blanket actually has a completely different texture from the original. The fur is much shorter (almost shaved) compared to my son's blankie which has longer fur. I don't know if the manufacture changed how they made the blankets in the past year or what happened, but I feel that the new blanket is a lower quality than the original.
