Marshall Instruments LBB00015 Fuel Pressure Gauge Black

Awesome buy, have the high and low units on the aeromotive EFI to carb duel pressure regulator (high is under the braided lines in pic) and they are great, haven't leaked at all, and look awesome. Saved money and still have a quality gauge. They fluctuate after driving because expansion/contraction of liquid and high heat in engine bay, it is fitted with a manual pressure relief if you need to take reading after it's been driven. I personally make my adjustments after it's idled to operating temp. I'll release pressure if any is in it, then adjust my fuel pressure. After initially dialing it in, unless there is any mechanical reason like a new fuel pump or whatever, there are typically few pressure adjustments needed. I just check mine periodically for my own assurance that everything is in good operating condition. Mine haven't leaked a drop off fluid so far, I couldn't be happier with them and recommend to anyone.

This came with no instructions. On the gauge it said that the vinyl fill nipple should be cut to equalize pressure in the gauge. It should be at the top of the gauge, but I angled it up 45 degrees and the silicone oil leaked.Marshall responded to my inquiry and said that it works fine without the oil, and that the oil will stop coming out as soon as it reaches a level below the nipple.In any case, the gauge works fine and it looks good. Just make sure it is installed with the face parallel to the ground.It might even work without cutting the nipple. I imaging a lot of people do not try to follow the label on the gauge.

I am using this as an oil pressure gauge on an old Wisconsin engine, very good quality, the oil dampening works great when used on an engine. Very pleased.

I haven't used Marshall gauges in awhile, and was happy to find them on Amazon. This one is super accurate and is a great compliment to the fuel pressure regulator from Aeromotive. Would definitely buy it again, and will start looking at Marshall for other gauge needs.

A little oil seeps out but seems to work fine

I have this gauge coming off my fuel pressure reg in my 72 beetle. The 48ida's I run only need 3-3.5lbs and this little gauge is doing a great job and looks perfect in my engine bay.Careful not to scratch i against other metal in the engine bay as the paint is easily scratched...Make sure you use a little permatex white liquid thread sealant.Would buy again.

Using as fuel pressure gauge on a carb aplication about 7 psi. Works well, couldnt mount it straight up and down so when it gets hot some of the oil leaks out but it seems to have leaked out enough it doesnt do it any more. Looks great under the hood.
