Heaven in a can! Seriously this stuff works better than carburetor cleaner!!
Works amazing, better than carburetor cleaner or brake cleaner that dissolves before I get to use something in conjunction with it. I can spray it on a gasket, and leave it for 15 minutes and it's still there waiting for me! Best thing is it works perfectly with a roloc pad and removes EVERY BIT OF THE GASKET! I took pictures of a 350 small block with the original head gaskets on the bottom end of the engine (before and after). As you can see it DESTROYS the gasket but not the plastic roloc pad. Couldn't believe it! Will only be using this product for gasket removal, it just works better than anything I have ever used (and I've tried everything from mineral spirits to pinesol to remove gaskets and everything in between)!

I definitely recommend this over a variety of gasket removers
I definitely recommend this over a variety of gasket removers! I have tried products from 3M, Klean Strip, and other companies as well as oven cleaners and acetone. CRC works the best! It's strength is somewhere between brands you'll find at big box automotive and hardware stores and aircraft stripper. It's powerful and works quickly but is not as damaging as aircraft stripper. You can leave this on for 15-30min and the gasket will be completely soft and gooey, making removal and clean up with acetone a breeze!I've heard if you leave it on too long it will begin to strip paint. I've never had this problem with this product; however, I'd still be cautious!

Good quality, cleans parts as expected
Excellent quality. Definitely cleans mechanical parts well. I used the entire box when rebuilding the top end of my LS2 and cleaning out the engine bay.

It works but not quite as well as advertised. I had to clean off 16 years old baked on gasket material from aluminum engine parts, so a razor blade was out of the question. I purchased this can thinking it would make it easy. While it did aid in softening the extremely hard and brittle gasket material, it was still far from easy. I had to spray it on, wait 5-10 minutes, only to be able to scrape off only the topmost layer of material with my plastic razor blade. Then I had to spray again, wait 5-10 more minutes, and scrape the next layer, and repeat several times until all of the gasket material was removed. So, the product DOES work and DOES soften up the material but it requires repeated application.

WORK GOOD
VERY STRONG STUFF NEEDS REAL GOOD VENTILATION GLOVES ETC. NOT CHEAP BUT WORKS GOOD.

Worked great on Aluminum
Worked very well for me on gasket material stuck to aluminum. It sprayed out at fairly high pressure and with a wide spray pattern, so beware. Once the product hit the manifold it became a gel immediately, which was nice because it stayed in place. I think the 10min wait time was a bit short for the first pass. I probably sprayed and scraped 4 times to be sure, using Shark 66 Plastic Razor Blades.

Works great!
Just spray little bit of this product on even old and hardened gaskets and after a few minutes it is easy to remove the gasket material. I used a small putty knife and the badly stuck on gasket material came off easily. Thicker gaskets may need another small application of this spray but it does work. GREAT PRODUCT!!

Great stuff!
This works great on removing gasket, sealers, adhesives paint, varnish! Spray it on, let it sit about 10 minutes, cleans smooth! I used a little wire brush and the surface is nice and clean and ready for installation. must get it if you don't have it!
